My First Crush (Prequel to My First Love)

Chapter 2

Mom opens the door and it was Trent with his parents. I run downstairs to greet them.

"Hello Rebecca how are you" Jane asks while holding a tray in her hand.

"I'm good and hello Carl" i wave at Carl who chuckles happily and squeezes my cheeks

"Hello little one" he says to me i guess that was my new nickname from him

"Rebecca why don't you take Trent to your room" mom says so i hold Trent's hand and i take him upstairs to my room

His eyes scan my room fully
"Wow your room is very pink and girly" he says shockingly and i start to giggle

"Thanks that's how i like my room to be" i twirl in my room and notice something in his hand

"What's that" i point at his hand

"Oh i got you a lollipop and chocolates" he reaches his hand forward and reveals a few chocolates then he reaches into his pocket for a red heart shaped lollipop.

I take the chocolates and lollipop off his hand and i thank him. I eat all the chocolates and i save the red lollipop for later.

We both play with my toys for a good half an hour until mom comes into the room.

"Oh Trent dear it's time for you to go home your mother says you've got an appointment" mom stands at the door just looking at Trent

"Oh no it's my dentist appointment" he sadly moans

"Don't you like the dentist" i say to him as he starts to sweat

He shakes his head and he widens his eyes.

"Don't worry you'll be fine" i reassure him to make him less scared

"Here this is my necklace which i wear to protect me now it's yours to protect you" i take off my necklace slowly and i help him put it on.

"Really,thank you" he gets up to leave but gives me a quick hug.

After that day we both became really good friends. We both made a telephone using two cans and a string that way we could talk to each other whenever we wanted and the best part was his rooms window was opposite my rooms window. We would play together nearly everyday but sometimes i would play with Michael. We both went kindergarten together and would always be together.

We would get into trouble for having paint fights and for drawing moustaches on pictures of teachers. This one time i left my doll Marie in school and i started crying a lot because my mom was busy so she couldn't take me back to school to get it and my dad was at work so he couldn't either.

I cried to Trent and he felt bad for me and he promised he would get it back then that night he was calling for me through our can phones.

"Hello what's wrong" i sound worried and my voice cracks a little

"Come downstairs your house please" he leaves his room after saying this so i go downstairs and open my house door quietly so no one wakes up. He stands just outside my doorstep and has something behind his back.

"Look i got Marie back" he shows me Marie and i almost scream. I was so happy he gives me Marie and i hug her tightly then i hug him.

"Thank you so much" i give him a quick peck on his cheek and i can see his face going red

"Ok bye then" he says and leaves so i go into my house with Marie

Me and Trent even went to elementary school together which is also known as primary school and in some classes we would watch movies as a treat and if we watched a romantic film where they kiss me and Trent would scream and go Ewww.our parents even made us a tree house so we could meet up and play there together
