Chapter 6

(Two weeks later-Trent's POV)
For two weeks I've observed her reading all the letters I've been sending her and she hasn't told me about any of the letters.

Honestly we barely even spoke face to face only in maths class we would speak and sometimes i dropped her off to school.
But other than that we haven't had a full conversation about anything

I meet Nico at his locker and i ask him for advice.

"Hey man it's been two weeks now and she hasn't told me about the letter what should i do" i lean against a locker next to his.

"Dude I told you sending love letters was stupid you should've stuck to what i told you to do in the beginning which was to tell her face to face" he crosses my arms and shows me the i told you so look.

"I don't wanna tell her yet i mean tonight is the big basketball game and she's gonna be cheerleading so she must be nervous about that I'll tell her at the right opportunity"

"What do you mean right opportunity your opportunity is right there just go tell her now" he points towards Rebecca who's at her locker with Alexa and Alison.

"No her friends are with her you know what I'll tell her after the big game" i say courageously

"Are you serious i mean are you actually gonna tell her" Nico asks sounding shocked

"Yes i defo will" Nico lifts me in the air and messes my hair in joy.

"Finally you better tell her" he points his finger at me strictly and i raise my hands up.

I enter maths class and i sit in my usual seat next to Rebecca

"Hey so are you excited about the big game tonight" i ask enthusiastically

"Yeah but I'm really nervous I've been practicing everything i learnt in my cheerleading sessions and i hope i don't mess it up" she breathes heavily and shakes her legs

"Don't worry I'm sure you'll do great I'll cheer you on from the stands" i smile at her trying to make her less nervous and she smiles at me too.

"Thank you I appreciate that" she places her hand on top of mine
And i nod my head

The lesson starts and we both focus on the lesson.
After all the lesson fly by the big game is about to start.

Me and my friends arrive early just to wish Rebecca good luck
The cheerleaders all practise they're routine and Rebecca is the main cheerleader at the front doing most of the dancing.

I go over to her as she takes a break.and i surprise her

"Guess who" i stand from behind with my hands covering her eyes.
She turns around and hugs me

"Hey your here early" she says excitedly

"Yeah i wanted to wish you good luck and my parents will be coming here to see you perform too"

"Aww that's so sweet bless them" she says sweetly

"Here i got you these flowers to wish you good luck" i pull out a bouquet of flowers from behind my back and she looks stunned.

"Aww they're beautiful thank you" she hugs me again but also kisses me lightly on the cheek and she admirers the flowers.

"Hey Rebecca come on we need to practise one last time" one of the cheerleaders say

"Coming....alright Trey i have to go now but I'll see you after the game" she walks off to her mates and they continue practicing

I sit at the stand with my friends and slowly everyone starts to arrive
Including my parents and Rebecca's parents.
