Chapter 7

(Four months later)
It's been four months and me and Rebecca still haven't talked to each other.i can't stop thinking about her everyday she's all i think about.

But recently she's been missing school quite often and she stopped going to cheerleading practise.
she is barely seen with her friends.

I wanted to know what's happened to her.so after school i go over to her house To see if she's there.
And her mom opens the door.

"Hello Mrs Evans is Rebecca home"

"She doesn't live here anymore" she says quietly

"What wait so where does she live"

"At her boyfriends house she says he needs her and i told her not to go but she did what she thought was right" she says sadly

"Okay thank you" i leave her house
And i make ways to his house.

I reach his doorstep and i knock on his door.Rebecca opens the door. her eyes were swollen and her face lost glow.

"Rebecca what...whats happened to you....you look awful" i move closer to her but she moves back

"I don't wanna talk to you" she slams the door on my face

I get into my car and leave the area.all i think about is what she said to me.

I wonder what has happened to her.definitely Rick did something to her but he barely came to school too so I couldn't ask him anything.i decide to ask Alexa for help since she's really close to Rebecca

"Alexa i need to talk to you" i ask Alexa at the cafeteria in school

"Whats wrong"

"It's about Rebecca she barely comes to school and doesn't want to talk to me and I'm really worried about her so i was wondering if you could find out whats going on with her" i ask Alexa kindly

"You think I haven't tried to talk to her,she doesn't pick up her calls and in school she doesn't tell me anything and every time i go to Rick's house they're not there"

"Ok fine I'll tell you when to go speak to her and I'll make sure she's at home" i assure Alexa and she agrees to what i tell her to do

(Alexa's POV)
After school trey calls me to go to Rick's house.i go over to the house and i look through the windows. the house was pitch black like a horror movie.

I knock on the door and luckily it was Rebecca. i hug her as soon as i see her but she looks terrible.

"Rebecca please tell me what's going on with you" i ask as I continue to hug her

She pulls me into the house and starts to cry.

"Oh my god what's wrong" she hugs me tightly and i pat her head slowly.

"It's...its rick he......he's crazy...i stayed with him here cos i felt bad for him that he lives alone but that was the worst mistake i made....i miss my home and my family. he doesn't let me talk to any guys and he doesn't let me go outside unless it's school he's a complete control freak.I'm forced to go to all these nasty clubs full of stripers and most of the time he leaves me home alone and its so scary here i just can't take this no more" she cries harder on my shoulder

"Rebecca why don't you break up with him and tell him your not gonna stay in his control" i advice her and she looks terrified

"No I can't I'm scared of what he would do to me" she shivers and shakes

"He's not gonna do anything ill make sure he doesn't do anything to you i promise"

"No trust me he will go nuts three months ago i asked him about some girl named Annie and he started shouting at me like crazy"
