{each breath; written on May 7, 2015}

A/N: Inspired by God and by my thoughts and a quote. 

"May you never take each breath for granted."

each breath that I take 

and that I will take,

reminds me of the life, 

of the journey that I'm in,

and how time doesn't last;

not forever, just for a time;

enough for me to be here. 

and each breath that I 

breathe in and out,

makes me thankful 

for the time I am here;

because even though,

I won't be here forever,

I'll be here for a time -

for a time that is enough,

and I'll be here for God;

each day, each hour,

each minute, each second;

each step and each breath

for the One who is here,

for the One who is my Father. 

each breath of life that I had

and that I've been given

and that I have and give 

is something that I'll always

be thankful for,

even on the the day I leave

and finish this journey of mine

and go back home 

to where I belong;

not taking 

an inhale,

an exhale,

a breath

that I take

for granted.
