"He's really good looking." Steve admitted. Will hummed agreeing.

As the movie ended and Steve when to turn of the tv, Will took a deep breath.
"Steve, you said that nothing could make you think different about me?"
"Yes and I stand by that.

"So..." I can't believe I'm doing this. Come on! "I have a crush on someone... that I'm not supposes to like... like that?" He knew he sounded like an idiot, but this was hard and he desperately needed someone to talk to.

"I thought so. I didn't want to say anything incase I was wrong."
"No- I don't think you know. It's not... normal."

"...It's Mike, right?" Steve asked, his voice sweet, like he knew exactly what to say and do, like if he hade done this before.
"How? I- was it that obvious?!"
"No." Steve smiled, warmly this time. "But you're not the first boy I know that fell for his best friend." You're not my first kid who fell for his best friend.

"Really? You know more people... like me?" Will was shocked, he thought all his earlier friends were mean bullies.
"Tons. Robin, for example." Will nodded, he knew that.

"Can you tell me more about that boy?"
"Of course, he hade a pretty bad childhood but got adopted by a friend of mine. He's my age but basically is my kid, my first, I think. And he was- is so deeply in love with his friend (my best friend) that he cried and after getting up the conference (and waited until he was single) he asked him out."

"Did it work?" Will hade so many more questions, but that was the most important one.
"Yes. They go in dates and drink milkshakes with two straws and cheesy stuff like that. They live in a big house with there friends and share a room and king size bed." Steve smiled at thought of his best friend and his kid, his pup, as he hade called them.

"Do you miss them? Your old friends?"
"Yes, all the time." He really did and slipping back into the pack mom role without his pups was sad but also made him incredibly happy.
"Where are they?"
"California. I haven't seen them since I was seventeen. Well I've called them of course. But it's not the same. It's been three years!"
"Why don't you call them and ask them to come here?"

Steve went quiet. He knew exactly why. But to tell a kid about that, more exact, his kid about that was unthinkable.
"Both me and them have work, you know." He tried to shrug it of but Will could sense that something was wrong.
"Well than I expect to meet then my summer break than."

"What was that about being cold?" Steve asked, avoiding the subject.
"I was alone in the Upside-down and if was very cold there and... y'know, when I was possessed." Steve hummed.
"If you feel cold, just tell me, okay?"
  "I'll remember that. Thanks."
  "No problem. Now, David Bowie?"
  "Absolutely."
