Steve woke up with a massive headache. He just laid there. Trying to remember what he did last night. But when he did he deeply regretted it. What did Eddie think of him? Where is Eddie?

When he thought that he heard footsteps. The door opened and Eddie walked in. With pancakes.
"Chocolate pancakes with syrup for the king." He said putting the plate in Steve's lap and giving him a fork.
"Thanks... and about yesterday-"
"We'll talk when you have eaten." Steve nodded and started eating. Eddie watched him, his eyes going between different parts of his face without even noticing.

Steve stopped and looked up.
  "What?" He asked.
"Nothing." Eddie smiled. He felt like he was bubbling, he didn't know were the happy feelings came from.

Steve put the empty plate down and looked nervously at Eddie.
  "Now, who were the boys?"
"Well... there was this boy, Jackson, he use to... bully me... until I was around sixteen. He turned out to actually be a cool dude. But... his old friends didn't start liking me just because Jackson tolerated me." Eddie nodded, taking a second to think before talking again.

"What's a Stiles?" He asked, obviously confused by the word.
"Shit." How am I supposed to explain this? "Well... my birth name isn't Steve. It's a long polish name, my grandfather's. But it's so long and hard to pronounce, so everyone just called me Stiles. When I moved to Hawkins I thought that Steve was a more normal name." Eddie looked shocked to say the least.
"What you actual name?"
"Mieczysław."
"Wow, yea, that's hard. I get why a nickname was necessary."

Steve smiled. Eddie gave him a concerned look and Steve feared what Eddie was going to say.
"What was the thing about you 'going after grandparents'?" Steve felt ashamed. He didn't want to say anything. Just the thought of it made him tear up. No, don't. You can't! You have told him enough! You can't cry too!
"It's okay. You can tell me when you feel like it." Eddie hugged him. This was happening. Steve was even more shocked. He hugged him.

"Do you have anything you have to do today? Other than school, because it's already ten am."
"Yeah, get the kids to your game."
"Great, we have until five am to do anything we want. What should we do first?"
  "Movie?"
"Sounds good. Come on!" Eddie helped Steve up and took the empty plate in his other hand.
