The whole party was out eating ice cream in a small park. It was a hot day, but not one of those hot days.
"I can't believe some people don't like ice cream." El said. It was probably the best thing she had ever discovered.
"Got to agree." Steve said, eating four different flavours on the same spoon.

"Well, it seems that the rumour are true." Steve froze. He new that voice. One of Jackson's old friends. He turned around, two of them.
"The fuck do you want."
"Ooh! Stilinski has become feisty. Now please tell me, is it true? Did you become popular? Did small, nerdy, gay little Stiles become popular?"
"Just shut up." Steve tried to calm down, but if was so fucking hard. He didn't want to snap in front of the kids.

"No, tell us. Did you really become a lady's man? A jock? Never thought I'd see that." The first one said, grinning.
"No, I was pretty sure you wouldn't make it to adulthood, but just look at you." The other one said.

"Can you guys fuck of? We're trying enjoy our ice cream here?" Robin said.
"Is this you're friend? Or one of your old ex'es? Or both."
"Yeah, just look at Lydia."
"Or that Hale, Tate girl. Don't really remember."

"Oh and have you finally found a boyfriend your own age? Or are you still going after grandpas?"
"He is a proper slut, I don't think he cares who or what he sticks his dick into."

Why? It was going so well! I can't break down here, that's what they want. I can't snap and hit them either, they would just laugh at me. What will the others say? Because there right. Everything they say is true. And I hate it.

"If you could stop being mean to our friend and fuck of, that would be nice." Eddie said, staring at the boys.
"You have to be even more of a freak than he is and that says something."
"As we have already said, fuck off!" Robin joined back in and Nancy nodded.

"Can I use my powers on them?" El asked Steve quietly. Steve nodded. Suddenly the both of them closed there mouth. Panic rising on there faces. Steve smiled as he watched them run.
"Good job, kid."

"Let's go back to your place, okay?" Eddie asked, a hand on Steve's lower back. Steve just nodded and got up. The others got up too but Eddie stoped them.

"I'll just make sure he gets home safe, you guys stay here."
It took some time to convince Robin, but it worked.

Steve sat in the passenger seat in his own car, Eddie driving him. He didn't say anything, as fighting the tears took to much energy. Eddie glanced over at him, he was so worried. Hoping the boys words hadn't gone to deep. But they obviously had.

The second the door closed, Steve broke. He slid down the wall, hiding his face in his hands.
"Hey... hey. Talk to me, please. Is there something I can do?" Eddie had never seen something so heartbreaking but also aggravating at the same time. He hated the tears. He hated those boys. Hated them.

Steve didn't answer. He just grabbed Eddies shirt, dragging him in. He got Steve up in his lap and in just some minutes he was asleep.
