"Y/N? What happaned in there? Are you ok? You look so distressed,  I could-"

"Shut up, Devi."

"But Y/N-"

"I SAID SHUT UP SHARMA, YOU DO NOT TALK BACK TO ME, I CAN FIRE YOU RIGHT HERE AND NOW."

Devi was left speechless.

"Harrold drive back now. I don't want to hear a damn thing from any of you."

The next morning after you learned of your father's misdeeds.

You aren't currently in the best shape. You've been indulging yourself into your computer, ignoring everything around you. You haven't slept, you haven't come out of your room, you haven't eaten anything proper, settling with just many bags of crisps.

You have refused to leave your room, yelling at anything and anyone who even as much opens your door. Letting your frustrations on your collection of books your father has written, family photos, gifts he has given you. Basically destroying anything that reminded you of him, smashing, tearing, ripping it apart. You just wanted it all gone. You felt pathetic, humiliated, what the fuck's gonna happen to your career, to your image when all this spreads?

Devi's obviously worried. If you're this bad the morning after, there's no way you'd even make it to the trial if this keeps up, and it's 2 days. Who knows what you could do during this manic phase of anger, especially at that trial.

After Tommy didn't hear from you later in the night, when you promised you'd tell him what went on, he started to spam you messages, and questions, and he would've stopped and assumed you were sleeping at this point, he really hoped you were just sleeping, but thsn you suddenly blocked him. He felt his heart crack, right then and there.

He didn't cry, it was more of that he couldn't cry, he felt heartbroken, but that was practically all he felt. He was confused too, he didn't even get an explanation from you, he at least wanted to know the reason of this, because even if he's a distressed and slightly insecure, barely legal adult, he was positive this wasn't his fault, in no world it would be his fault.

He called Devi, he asked what the hell happened in your house, to which Devi dully replied that she didn't quite know either, told him about how you completely dismissed her on the drive back to Brighton. You yelled at her, multiple times throughout the night, in fact, even threatened to fire her, something you'd usually say that you'll never even dream of it to. Even Tommy can't believe it. This is all so out of character for you.

"I'm coming over"

Was all the blonde boy said, before hanging up. Which left Devi confused, but she wasn't really surprised, she knew Tommy wouldn't give up til he knew you were doing ok, he's pushy like that.

And come over he did.

About 10 minutes passed,

ding dong

"10 minutes... impressive Simons, considering how you live at least 25 minutes away-" Devi snickered, opening the door to a very breathless lanky little white boy. "I got here in... 9 minutes actually... more or less.." Tommy huffed, catching his breath. Devi smiled, "Come inside, they're in their room... y e l l i n g "

Tommy didn't question it, he just went straight to your door, but stopping, pressing his ear gently against the door to hear what you're up to.

"This is absolute BULLSHIT." Your voice yelled, slightly muffled from behind the door. Then, the sound of paper, more accurately, multiple papers being ripped was heard, followed by a loud thump, like something was thrown down onto the ground with a great force.
