"You are awfully early and awfully happy this morning eonnie."

Jisoo gasped and kiddingly glared at Chaeyoung leaning at the counter.

"Excuse me! I am always early since this café opened. And excuse me again because I am always happy!"

Chaeyoung giggles at the older's respomse and reaction. "You're right, my bad. But!!!! There is something in your face and your aura that is different."

"That is my out-of-this world beauty and my oozing confidence!", Jisoo smirks proudly, then goes back to her current task.

The younger girl laughs heartily at the witty response but she couldn't counter it considering that it's true.

"Yeah yeah Miss Conceited, I accept defeat! Anyways, what are you up to now?"

"Hmmm this...", Jisoo proudly points at her mixing bowl. "..will be the next big thing in this café. This is my very own two-toned macarons! The black or dark side will be chocolate flavored and the other would be strawberry flavored. And then the filling will be the usual cream with a touch of lemon and orange!"

"Ooohhh that looks so delicious!!", Chaeyoung exclaims excitedly and moves closer to Jisoo's side. However, Chaeyoung was taken aback, not in a bad way, with how the older girl smells so good with her subtle yet alluring perfume and natural scent. She had to take a step back before she would make a fool out of herself and lean towards Jisoo's tempting neck.

"Of course it would be delicious because I made it. I'll be making around 60 pieces for the first batch and see how the customers would take it.", Jisoo smiles towards Chaeyoung and winks.

God, have mercy on me!

"Here is the one I baked as test run. Here, have a bite.", Jisoo picks one from the cooling tray and walks closer to Chaeyoung and holds up the macaron near her lips.

Chaeyoung had to swallow hard because of the proximity. With Jisoo this close and too sweet for Chaeyoung's safety, the latter could only pray so hard. But nonetheless, skillfully and pretentiously unaffected by the sudden act, Chaeyoung accepts the food in her mouth.

She slowly munches, savoring the sweet and tangy flavor, then beams withh so much happiness that she almost cried at how delicious the macaron is.

"This is great eonnie!! Oh my God it's so delicious!!"

"I knew it!! Yes!!", Jisoo raises both hands in victory.

"Can I have the rest so the staffs could taste it too before we open the shop?"

"Of course! That's why I baked enough for all of us."

As expected, the new item received a favorable response from the crew. And thus, it will be officially launched as part of the pastries to be displayed. Jisoo immediately hot back to work, baking more for sale in coming opening of the day which is two hours from then.

At 8:30am, Jisoo is already calm and resting. She had just finished baking about a hundred and fifty pieces of the macarons. Bulk of it would be for sale and the others would be for their snacks since the staffs loved it and requested for more.

As she prepares the basket containers for the display, Chaeyoung once again came in to check on her.

"Are you good?"

"Yup, almost done. Youngro can place these in the display shelf and the others can be stocked in refrigerator."

"Good. We are open. And there are a few customers already. The usual orders."

Jisoo nods as a response. Contemplating on how to say it, Jisoo became speechless and in deep thoughts that showed in her face. And Chaeyoung noticed it.
