Enchanted

Jisoo crawls backwards, withdrawing from Lisa's presence. Lisa thought she said something wrong and panicked for a while.

"What? Why? What's wrong? Did I say something wrong?"

Jisoo blinked several times before she could find her voice?

"Are you being serious right now?"

"Yes I am Jisoo!"

Jisoo suddenly stands up and walks towards  small terrace with her hand on her waist. Lisa follows and walks to Jisoo's side. She gently caresses her by her waist and Jisoo secretly jolts up.

"What's wrong? Tell me. You can be honest with me."

Jisoo looks at her tenderly.

"I'm happy. At the same time I'm scared. It would be hard for you, I know as much because you'll be going against your family. And Jennie and Lean...I...I can't imagine how much pain this will cause them."

So much guilt that Jisoo feels and Lisa understands that. She too is scared. But it's her future on the line.

"I understand. But I can't live like this. It seems like everything is a lie. I know I will hurt Jennie and specially Lean, and the guilt would forever hunt me, but I can't deceive them any further. And I won't hide you from the public. I want us to be real and free."

Jisoo blushed and giddy at her boldness.

"I don't know how much I would do for us, but I will surely do whatever it takes to protect you, and be with you."

Lisa pulls Jisoo and seeks for her chin to look at her.

Hopeful, Lisa smiles and asks, "Are you willing to take that risk with me?"

Caught between being mesmerized with Lisa's gentle eyes and the overflowing feeling of excitement, Jisoo nods with a smile.

For the first time today, the younger girl smiled genuinely and full of happiness. She pulls the hem of Jisoo's shirt and shyly snakes an arm around her waist to hug. Jisoo bites her lip as she slowly and shyly wraps her arms around Lisa's waist.

"I'm so happy right now, I think I'm going to cry."  Lisa said, her voice cracking a little. Jisoo looks up, Lisa being taller than her by inches, and furrows her brow.

"I never thought of you to be this sentimental!"

"I told you, you bring out different emotions in me that I, too, never thought I have. I never thought I could be this happiest."

Jisoo chuckles then goes back to resting her head under Lisa's chin as she feel Lisa's warmth. They stayed like that for five more minutes before Jisoo tapped her back and wriggled out of her embrace.

"I just remembered, I left all my things including my phone at the shop. Could we possibly get them?"

"Well, is it still open? It's past 10pm already, Love."

"Can I borrow your phone? Seulgi has spare key and she's just near here. I could borrow the key or maybe they brought my thinhs home."

Lisa hands her her phone and Jisoo dials in.

"Hey Seul it's Jisoo...yeah my things..ob really? That's nice of you, thank you. Yeah yeah I'll be there in like ten minutes...", she hangs up and looks at Lisa. "She brought home my things. I can drive down their house  and get it."

"Well, I'll drive you there."

"But it's late. You have to go home. J-Jen..."

"It's fine. I can stay out late and she won't look for me unless it's an emergency at home.", she says with a smile and held Jisoo's hand to walk them outside.
