CHAPTER ELEVEN
Your POV
"So, Terence, what brings you to workshop?" Mr. Claus started.
"Same as every year, North." Terence said and winked at him.
"Is it that time of the year already?"
"North, my man, it's almost Halloween." The trickster spoke.
Jane looked at you, her eyes filled with questions. You just smiled at her. As if saying that everything will be fine.
"Halloween? So, you scare people yearly?" You asked Terence, sounding a bit like you were expecting a yes.
"Well, yes and no, my girlfriend."
"Not your girlfriend." You retorted. Jane just giggled from the sidelines.
"Will be when the time comes, honey." He winked at you. There it is, attractive and annoying in one body. He's pretty charming, though. You just laughed how sad it was.
"I normally scare North every year but it got so boring since he now fake screams." Disappointed, Terence walked around the room, waving his arms and gave a sigh, not noticing that he had already kicked Dingle in the butt by accident.
The little elf was infuriated. He was about to kick Terence's shin when the blonde spun and walked towards the window.
Dingle, sadly, slipped and fell. Revenge is never good, kids.
"But I am scared. I scream like little girls." North waved his hands in terror. Sorry but that was funny. Seriously, it's either because of his reference or how innocent North sounded like.
"Nah. This year, I'll scare someone else. Play tricks on a number of new people." Determination filled Terence's blue eyes.
"Well," You turned around and started walking away, "Good luck with that, buddy."
"Please excuse us." Jane smiled and went after you.
"No, wait. You're perfect!" He looked at you. Terence is, no offense, retarded.
"Nope. Scare me and an arrow will go straight through your throat," You said nonchalantly; cold eyes were piercing through his, "And we both don't want that now, do we?"
"N-no ma'am." He cleared his throat, giving an apologetic smile. His face screamed 'have mercy, it was just a harmless joke'.
You smiled sweetly, "I'm glad you saw it my way, Pumpkin-face."
"What's with all the commotion, mate?" that Aussie accent said.
"Hey, doc. What's up?" You said, raising a brow while smirking.
"I believe it's 'What's up, Doc?'" Terence corrected.
"This is not amusing, Trickster." Bunnymund glared.
"Okay, okay. She started it, though."
You just shrugged off your shoulders.
"Bunnymund!" Jane ran towards the oversized rabbit and gave him a tight hug. Something's wrong here, you thought.
Bunnymund was blushing again. You know what? You started shipping them. Jane and Bunnymund. BunnyJane or JaneMund. Yeah.
"Wellp, I don't know about you guys but I still have work to do. So, if you'll excuse me, I shall take my leave." You waved your right hand goodbye as you walked away from them.
"I'll catch up to you later, (y/n)!" Jane said.
"Wait! Where are you going?" Blondie ran after you and grabbed your arm.
"I'm a guardian and I have duties, Mr. Trickster." You calmy said, "Unlike you, playing games is not in my agenda."
"What do you do then?" his innocent and curious eyes burrowed unto yours.
"I deal with everyone's emotions and relationships. I regulate everything and do requests and missions given to me by Dianne." You explained to him with pride.
"Boring." he yawned.
"Excuse me?"
"It's boring."
"I don't have the tolerance to deal with you, though. Goodbye." You yanked your arm from his grip.
"Hold on!"
"What is it, Terence? I'm busy."
"Make me... fall in love with someone." He spoke softly.
The room fell silent and from the back, you can see North's wide eyes peeking behind Terence. It was just creepy.
"Okaaay, North still has couple of things to finish-"
"Bunnymund, I forgot, I wanted to show you something-"
"L-lead the way, Jane-"
"Are you kidding me, you guys?" They all left before you could finish that sentence.
Awkward.
You looked at Terence.
"Make me fall for someone. Please."
