CHAPTER SIX

JANE

“We’re almost there, Jane.” You excitedly said. You now have a new friend. Jane. The two of you are currently cruising in the sky.

“This is so fun!” She merrily yelled.

“I know, right?” You laughed at her comical reaction.

“So, does the Toothfairy exist?” She asked you, her voice loud enough for you to hear while the wind kept on hitting your face and ears.

“Yes!”

“What about the Easter Bunny?”

“Oh yes! And a lot more others. Santa Claus as well. Actually, we’re going to his place!” You smiled at her.

“REALLY?” She gasped in excitement.

“Yeah! Hang on tight, Jane.” You told her and flew faster.

The two of you landed in the building. Elves began running towards you with two glasses of hot chocolate and cookies. You took the mugs and gave one to Jane. You took a sip of it and loved the hot taste of heaven. “Thank you, Dingle.” You patted the head of the cute elf.

“Delicious!” Jane accredited. “Did you make this?” She looked at Dingle and he bashfully nodded. Wow, this guy’s a chick-magnet for an elf.

“Ah, welcome back (y/n) aaand… new friend?” North approached us.

“This is Jane, I found her in the woods. She seemed lost and she doesn’t remember anything.” You explained Jane’s situation. You turned to your raven haired friend, “Jane, this is North or Santa Claus.”

“Hi Jane, I’m Bunnymund, also known as the Easter Bunny.” Bunny came out of nowhere with Tooth and Sandy behind him. Jane’s eyes widened.

“That’s so cool! Hi, nice to meet you, Sir.” Jane spoke with formality.

“Uh… uh… nice to meet you too.” Bunny stuttered, blushes evident in his cheeks. Oooh, looks like someone has a little cwushie.

You elbowed Bunnymund’s guts and gave him a smirk, “What’s up, doc?”

“Oh shut up, Cupid.” He retorted and left.
“Hey! It’s rude to walk out on a girl.” You said then he looked back at you and you eyed at Jane. Bunny sighed and went back. You weren’t satisfied so you whispered in his ear, “She’s irresistible, ain’t she?”

Bunny just intensely blushed. “Will you stop that?!”

You laughed clutching your stomach, “You should like see the look on your face, Kanga!”

Bunny was about to chase when you ran behind Jane. You stuck your tongue out at the Easter Hybrid. You thought of keeping Jane for a while for leverage.

“Anyway, that’s Sandy, Sandman; and Toothianna, the Toothfairy.” You pointed out to the other Guardians and they both beamed at Jane, “Huh? Where’s Jack”.

“He’s not yet back, (y

).” Tooth answered.

“Who’s Jack?” Jane turned her head to look at you.

“Oh, you know, Jack Frost.” You lazily said.

“Ah! He’s a friend of yours?” She excitedly asked.

“I guess. Well, he’s sorta my rival slash friend.”

“Is he made of snow?” She grabbed your hand. Sparkles and glitters eminent in her eyes.

“What do you mean made of snow?” You confusedly asked, holding in your smirk. “Wait, how do you think Jack Frost looks like?”

“A snowman.” Jane innocently answered. You couldn’t help but give a light laugh. Bunny on the other hand cackled so hard.

“Okay, okay, enough with the laughs,” You waved both of your hands oppositely from left to right. “Now, time to take you to your room.”

“My-my room?” Jane gasped.

“Oh, I meant our room. We’ll be roommates.”

“Great!” She giggled.

The two of you are now walking down the hall. After a few minutes, you’ve finally reached that certain red door.

“Why red?” Jane asked.

“I’m Cupid, remember? Red is for looove.” You sang the last word.

“Right,” She lightly giggled, “Sorry about that.”

“Nah, it’s cool.”

Jane and (y/n) are now seated at the bed they’ll share. It ain’t a problem because Cupid owned a king sized bed. Cupid and her new friend were currently laughing at their jokes when three knocks were heard at their window.

“Let me in, will you?” that certain voice said. You went to the window, and opened it.

“You know, there’s a civilized way of getting into a house… and that’s through the door!” You stated the obvious, waving your hands in the air. “Geez Jack, the door exists for a reason!”

“It’s a cooler way of getting in!” He snapped.

“You look like a burglar, idiot!” You retorted.

“What did you call me?” He glared.

“Oh you heard me, ice princess, I said you’re a complete moron!”

“I-ice princess?!” He glowered at you. You just sneered at his reaction. It’s obvious you won this round. Who said anything about liking Jack Frost? You were just confused that night. You were vulnerable. Making fun of Jack Frost was way better.

Jane just laughed at the two of you. You almost forgot that she was there. You were embarrassed because of your rude actions.

“Oh my gosh, Jane, I am so sorry.” You bowed to her, “It was an impolite thing to do.”

“No, no,” She giggled this time, “It was a fun argument.”

“Oh, anyway, this is the Snowman.”

“Nice to meet you Snowman, I’m Jane!” Jane reached out her hand, she rode along with your prank.

Jack just grunted while shaking her hand, he turned around and existed through the door. There! There’s that civilized way you were looking for.

“So much for first impressions.” Jane tried to hold her laugh.

“Yeah.” You beamed at her, “You know, you and I make a pretty good team.”

“Yeah, we do!” She said and gave you a fist bump.
