The last bell of the day rang signalling it was time to go home I walk to the front of the school going to head over to Cleo's car so she could take me home when I got pulled by a large pair of hands in the opposite direction, I tense up not knowing who it was my brain going to the worst outcome "relax it's only me" I heard Axel say, i look up at him with a questioning look as he continues to lead me away from Cleo's car "we have the assignment" he says after looking at me, we stop in front of his car and I sigh remembering I agreed to work on it with him I get in his car and pull out my phone when I get a message

I laugh at Cleo's message and respond

"What's so funny?" Axel said beside me not taking his eyes off the road. "nothing" I responded before looking out the window.

We arrived at his house after five minutes but honestly it felt like hours. we walked inside and went straight to the kitchen "you want something to eat" Axel asked going to the fridge "nope" I say walking to the living room and sitting down "do you even know what book were supposed to have read" I asked not really knowing "nope, we can just choose a random one and hope Owens is happy we did work for once" he said, we quickly decide on a book we've both read and started working we asked a few questions about each other and then started writing.

The front door opened and Eleanor and Felix walked in "Ax, where are you?" Eleanor shouted "if you look to your left you'll find out" he said not looking up from his work, "Louise, sweetie what a surprise" she said walking into the living room then stopped when she saw Axel still writing stuff down "are you doing work?" she asked "yep" he responded still not looking up "who are you and what have you done with my son?" she asked a little shocked "haha very funny" Axel said finally looking up from his book "LOUISE" Felix shouted running into the room. "Hey little dude." I said to him as he ran up and hugged me "are you hanging with Axel again?" he asked with a little said face "yeah, we had to work on something for school" I replied "can you hang out with me for a little bit" he asked with puppy dog eyes "yeah sure little dude I wasn't doing much work anyway" I replied and he grabbed my taking me this room upstairs.

Felix and I were sitting on the floor playing with his you cars when Eleanor walked in "hey, I just spoke to your mum she said you can have dinner and stay over for the night if you want, considering it's already 8pm" she spoke looking at me "please stay Louise" Felix spoke next to me I nodded my head saying yes to him. "Well, dinners ready" she said and walked out Felix and I followed behind her when we got downstairs. I saw Axel still writing his essay before his mum spoke up telling him dinner was ready.

We were currently sitting down at the table with our food. I had eaten half of it then stopped not really hungry "so what work where you two doing" his mum asked "we got paired up to write an essay about each other who we most relates to" Axel spoke his mouth half full of spaghetti "that's nice, how's it going" she asked "I've written some of it" Axel spoke the looked at me "same" I spoke by some I meant a sentence that kinda goes like 'Axel relates to the character' and that's it I got distracted "that's good" Eleanor spoke standing up and taking her plate up and washing it I did the same emptying the scraps into the bin and washing my plate "well I'm going to get Felix ready for bed you guys start to get ready for bed soon to ok" she told us taking Felix up stairs. I pulled my phone out to check my messages

I turned my phone off and looked up to see Axel staring at me "what?" I asked "nothing you ready for bed" he asked standing up from his spot at the table and washing his plate "yep" I say and we head upstairs I start to walk into the guest room when a hand stops me "you need clothes to sleep in, follow me" he says and walks into his room I follow him and he goes to his closet pulling out a hoodie and sweatpants "I don't know if these will fit but here" he says handing them to me "thanks" I say and walk to the guest room I have no idea why he's being so nice to me, I put the clothes on and lay down on the bed.
