The Damage Was Done

CHAPTER 10

I got out of the car and walked up to the front door of the house, knocking on the door I contemplate turning around and just going to the park instead but before I can the door is opened "too late to turn around now" he says and turned around walking I started following honestly just wanting to hang with someone, we walked into the kitchen "so why the sudden to urge to hang out with me" Axel says getting cups down from one of the cupboard "I was bored, I can still leave" I replied pulling vodka from my bag "so what we just gonna drink in silence" he asks "if I wanted to do that I'd be at home by myself" I pull out my laptop "were gonna watch a movie" I start to walk to the lounge and set up "we can't do it in the lounge" he says making me turn around giving him a look "my mum could come home and then she would say something to your mum" he adds "oh yeah" I say and make my way upstairs.

We were currently on our second movie which was Ratatouille when my phone started to go off.

I turned my phone off because I wanted to focus on the movie "I can't believe people are eating food that a rat touched, that's gross I'd never eat that" Axel says "it's not real so you won't have to also they don't know a rat's making it they think Alfredo making it" i say hearing the front door downstairs I knew Eleanor and most likely Felix was home "quick, hide the evidence" I say putting the cups and empty bottle of vodka under his bed, "Axel, are you home?" I hear Eleanor say as she opened the door of the bedroom I kept my eyes on the movie that was playing "I thought you're mum was joking when she said you would be here" I hear her say and that's when I look up "I'm here but now I'm not I'm going home" I replied not trying to be rude just didn't want to be here when other people are here I pack up my laptop and grab my phone walking past Eleanor and down the stairs "Louise" I heard a little voice I look over and see Felix "hey little dude" i wasn't gonna ignore him "what are you doing here?" he questions me "believe or not I was hanging with your brother" I say I heard Axel and Eleanor walking down the stairs "no fair I want to hang with you" he whined I smile at him and whisper loud enough for both him and Axel to hear "don't worry your still my favourite, I would've gladly hung out with you then you're brother" I look over at Axel and see him smile "sure" he says "while I got to go" I said looking at my phone as I walk out the door it was only 7pm.

I walked inside my house deciding to go home instead of out. I was halfway in the door when I heard my mother's voice "I can't believe you were actually at Axel's house" "are you guys friends now or something?" she added with hope in her eyes she's had this dream that me and Axel would be friends someday "no I was bored and he was the only one free" I replied and the slimmer of hope in her eyes slipped away "right" she said sounding disappointed and walked away.
