Sam knows she's ruining everything she's built with Aly, but the girl somehow knows how to make her feel better. She makes her feel secure even when they're not together. She makes her feel that her love is genuine. However the fear she has is still there, thus is the reason why she can't let things go further.

"is there something bothering you, Sam?" her mom asks her. They are out for dinner to spend time together, pareho kasi silang naging busy with her mom sa business and her sa school.

Is this the right time to talk to her about everything? she wonders.

"Sam?" her mom calls once again.

"mom, remember Alyssa Valdez?" she asks, letting go of her utensils.

"yeah, she's the one who took your spot away from you right?" her mom asks.

"yes mom, but.." she said, unsure if she should continue or not.

"mom, what if I have someone I love but I'm scared na baka magaya lang sa inyo ni dad? na baka mawala lang din ang feelings nung taong yun and then maiwan ako." she asked instead.

"well, ang importante naman ay kung ano ang ngayon.. marami namang bagay na walang kasiguraduhan, you just have to let go of those fears and live your life, whatever happens next is beyond your control..wag mong hayaang mawala yung kasiyahan mo ngayon dahil sa takot at walang kasiguraduhan.. yung samin ng dad mo, cheating is not justifiable but it is what it is, nangyari na, ginawa niya na. it may take me a long time to forget about it but I sure as do forgive them. and about you, mahal ka ni Alyssa and mahal mo siya, it should be enough reason to not be scared of uncertainties. " mahabang sabi ng mom niya.

She thought about it and her mom is right. Ano naman kung mawala yung feelings? possible din namang mawala yung sa kanya eh. Wala talagang bagay na sigurado hanggang dulo but what they feel for each other now is what matters. Live the moment. Be happy.

"thanks mom." she said, now with a smile.

"papuntahin mo pa din sa bahay ko si Alyssa.. d ko pa name-meet personally magiging girlfriend mo na agad." sabi ng mom niya that made her stop her tracks.

oo nga pala! pano niya alam ni si Alyssa tinutukoy ko?!

"pano mo nalaman I'm talking about her mom?"

"you asked if I know her, then you suddenly asked about your doubts and fears.. put two and two together Sam, I was not born yesterday." sabi nito sa kanya.

"eh okay lang po sa inyo na I am in love with a girl?" she asks.

"love is love regardless of who they are and what gender they have." sagot nito that made her smile.
