(Prologue) Welcome To Signal

Qrow: You're kidding right? What in the world could you possibly want to talk about?

Raven: Damian and Silver. Those boys each have a power that is far beyond anyone's comprehension. I know they're here, tell me where they are.

Qrow: How do you know about them? What do you want with them?

Raven: One, that's none of your business. Two, I want them to come with me. Their potential is wasted on you and Tai.

While they were talking, Damian woke up from his sleep and he woke Silver up.

Damian: There's someone here.

Silver: I know.

Raven: Tell me where they are and I'll leave.

Qrow: No. The two of them stay here.

Damian and Silver entered the room.

Qrow: Damian? Silver? What are you guys doing here?

Silver: It's alright Qrow.

Raven: So this is the famous Remnant's Hero, Silver? It's a pleasure to meet you.

Silver: And this is the leader of the Branwen Tribe.

Raven looked a little bit surprised. However, she keeps herself very composed.

Raven: You're very well informed.

Silver: In my line of work? I have to be.

Raven: I see.

She looks at Damian who is giving quite a serious look at her direction.

Raven: You must be Damian. I have heard that you--

Damian: What do you want?

Raven looked very displeased by Damian's response.

Raven: Straight to business I see. That's understandable. I want you two to come with me and train by my side.

Silver( to Damian): What do you think?

Damian(to Silver) It's tempting. However, I don't like working with those weaker than me. Still, I think we can use it to our advantage.

Silver(to Damian): Agreed.

Damian(to Raven): Okay. We'll go with you to train.

Qrow looks surprised, but Raven isn't surprised and so she gives a cocky smirk.

Damian: However..

Raven: Hm?

Damian: You agree to our terms of the deal.

Qrow: Deal?

Raven: What deal?

Damian: Everyone lives. Once we're in Signal Academy we do what we do inside and once we're outside, you train us. If by any chance you or your people try to screw us over, then I burn your whole tribe.

Raven and Qrow are shocked by what Damian said. However, Silver isn't surprised, but curious about their response.

Qrow: Are you insane? Kid, you can't go with her. The rule of the tribe--

Damian: I know the rule and so does this guy. (Points at Silver)

Silver: "The weak die, the strong live".

Raven(shocked internally; stays composed): That's correct. How did you know?

Silver(smirks): Lucky guess.

Raven: I understand.

Raven gets up and opens a portal.

Damian: Raven, do not forget our agreement. If you betray us, I'm coming for you.

She walks towards the portal with one thing on her mind.

Raven: Those two are going to be a serious problem. A problem I must handle with caution.

The portal closes leaving Damian, Silver and Qrow. Qrow looks completely shocked from what just happened and after a few minutes, he finally speaks.

Qrow: Have you two lost your minds? If you two train with her, she'll mostly like--

Damian: She won't.

Qrow: How do you know she won't kill you two?

Silver: She'll only kill the weak. We are not that.

Damian: Besides.. This will give us both more time training and hopefully.. A chance to test ourselves against people who actually know how to fight.

Qrow: What if that isn't enough? What if you two eventually realized that you're both no match for her? That you're not strong enough? That you'll both--

Damian: Shut up old man.

Qrow: Huh?

Damian: Listen, I'm not sure if you realize it yet, but we both fought using a small amount of our power. If we wanted to, we could do just about anything to anyone. Besides, we aren't so easy to kill.

Qrow is surprised by just how calm and composed the two of them are, knowing that they could die, but confident in their abilities in combat.

Qrow(sighs): Fine. But if you two are going to train with her, I'll have to train you two myself and I won't back down on you guys. We don't want Ruby and Yang to lose their two newest friends now do we?

Silver: No. No we do not.

Timeskip.

Damian and Silver woke up knowing that today's a brand new day. However, it is mainly because Ruby is running faster than a speeding bullet with a burst of excitement.

Damian and Silver make their way downstairs, there they see everyone together.

Damian: Where are you guys going?

Ruby: Don't you mean where are we going?

Damian: Huh?

Ruby fetches the papers from her father and gives them to the guys, jumping like a rabbit on coffee. Silver puts his hand down on her head which causes her to stop and they read their papers.

Damian: No way. We're going to Signal Academy?

Qrow: That's right. Congrats, you two.

Silver(to Damian): Huh. To be honest, I didn't think it would work but I'm glad it did.

Damian: That makes two of us.

Tai: I answered a few questions and when they asked about you guy's skills, I told what I know. They wanted to see you guys in action before making a decision.

R&Y: Congratulations, Silver and Damian.

Damian: Thank you. All of you. Give us some time to get ready and we'll be with you.

The two of them got changed and had breakfast, then went back to their room to get their gear. Damian sees Silver looking at his Scroll with a picture of Summer Rose and himself together.

Damian(place hand on his shoulder; to Silver): You all right?

Silver puts the picture away.

Silver: I'm alright.

Damian: Okay.

Timeskip.

After a nice long trip together, they finally made it to their destination: Signal Academy. The building is quite large with enough space for any and all kinds of classes. There's also a Colosseum for training. Before Tai and Qrow can explain anything to them, Ruby grabs Silver and uses her Semblance to give him the fastest tour of Signal Academy. When they came back, Silver's hair looked to be a complete mess.

Damian: Glad to see you two could make it.

Silver: My brain is spinning. Is that normal?

Damian: I don't think so.

The others start to laugh.
