Aneri smiles at me, I feel it genuine. It lighten the burden I feel until now. I smile too. But I see something in her eyes. Pain! What is she hiding now? Should I ask her? Will she tell me after what I did? But before my girlfriend, she was my friend.
Sw- Aneri.
An- Hm,
Sw- Are you ok? I mean... is it because of-
An- No, Swayam. It's not because of you. I told you, there's nothing left between us, because the love we had was lost only when we were away from each other, then why should we waste our tears for eachother. It's just... I don't know it's a bit complicated.
Sw- Don't you wanna share with your champ?
She looks at me with shock. I chuckle. What if we can't be gf-bf anymore, we were bestfriends, we can be now, only if she wants. No matter what, she'll always be my Angel!
An- What did you-
Sw- Angel.
She starts crying now. I smile and hug her, without wasting a moment she hugs me too, I understand she needs this hug, a hug which comforts her, which take her pain away. She has no one besides her, she was fighting all alone. She deserves this. She deserves all the happiness of this universe.
An- I hiccup* was all alone, hiccup* all these years, Swayam, hiccup* I need this, hiccup* I really needed this. Thank hiccup* thankyou so much hiccup* thankyou for giving hiccup* me... me my friend hiccup* back. I... I m-missed you c-champ!
She still hiccups while crying. It's her habit or you can say it naturally happens with her. I feel something on my cheeks, tears. I was crying too. I too missed her. My Angel! I pat her head. She slowly calm down and dettach herself from me. I cup her face and kissed her forehead.
Sw- Your champ will always be there for you whenever you need him. Hm? Just one call and I'm at your service ma'am.
She giggles. Finally, I able to make her smile. I smile too, she gets a call from her boss, I guess. After chucking the call.
An- Boss is calling me, he needs to discuss something with me, I should go now.
Sw- Yeah, no prob.
She about to leave but stops and turn.
An- Did you t-talk to Sharon?
I look at her and shakes my head. She sighs.
An- Then go and talk to her. She too needs solace.
I hesitated a bit, it's actually awkward that your ex is giving you advice to go and talk to the girl you're showing interest in.
An- I know what you're thinking. Awkward, isn't it. chuckle* no it's not. Now go and talk to her.
I smile and nod. She smiles and leave. ThankGod, everything sort out between me and Aneri. Now it's time to confront Miss Sharon Rai Prakash.
