On a cold and snowy day, I opened my eyes to see some messy hair next to me. I remembered last night. We celebrated Christmas eve with some of his friends and colleagues. We got home slightly drunk, and laid in bed as we kept talking cheerfully. So today, it was Christmas. Time seemed to have flew away since I met him. He was this teasing man, yet he knew exactly how I could feel.

I sat in the bed, letting him sleep a bit more. I placed my hand in his hair, slowly caressing it. I looked at the clock to see it was past 10AM. I stayed in bed for a few minutes before getting out of it to go take a shower and get dressed. I was cautious to not wake him up, before heading to the kitchen and start preparing breakfast.

In a few days, it'll be one year. I couldn't help but to be excited to spend it with him. I was smiling stupidly when I heard a voice calling from the door frame.

- «[Y/N]... Why didn't you stayed in bed beside me ?» 

His sleepy voice when he just woke up was so adorable, it made me melt everytime.

- «I didn't wanted to wake you up.» 

- «You could've... As long as it's you, it's no bother.» 

He walked toward me, putting his arms around my neck as he leaned in a tender embrace. I closed my eyes and hugged him back, kissing his cheek.

- «You can go sit down, it'll be ready soon.» 

- «But I would love to keep you in my arms..» 

I rolled my eyes and stole a kiss from him, making him sit on the stool next to the kitchen worktop. He kept his eyes on me as I finished making our breakfast and put it into the plates.

- «You know, I should maybe arrest you.» He said when I brought him his plate.

- «Arrest me ? Have I done anything wrong ?» I gave him a puzzled look, waiting for his answer.

- «Yes. You're way too adorable for me.» He grinned, winking at me.

- «Oh dear, I'm only adorable with you.» 

I sat next to him. He kissed my temple before starting to eat. I could feel my cheeks becoming slightly hot. I let out an embarrassed laugh and ate to hide my flustered expression. Once we finished eating, he insisted to clean everything.

On the other hand, I then decided to go take the gift I made for him. It has been a month I'm working over it and I just hoped it would be enough for him. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. But just then, I felt a hand on my shoulder and jumped in fear. I turned around to see it was only him.

- «Heizou! Don't scare me like that!» 

- «I'm sorry, it's not what I wanted.» 

He kissed my forehead as an apology, and I shook my head, telling him it was alright.
