A little Albedo x reader!

On an early morning, you go out. Not even due to commissions. You walk through the city and enter few minutes later this cold atmosphere. You can see all those enemies, and instead of fighting, you run. As fast as you can. Thanks to the snow, you almost fall.

After all, you have to pay attention in Dragonspine. But, do you really know why you came here ? Well, yes, of course you do. You end running to his small lab. He isn't here. Of course he isn't. He is always out or busy with someone else when you want to see him.

You bite your lips, going up more. You just end going on the hightest place of Dragonspine, even if you have to jump and if it was dangerous. You sit on the edge, looking to Mondstadt, Liyue, and Sumeru, from afar. It's calm, and peaceful. You are shivering, even freezing a bit, but you couldn't care less.

You sigh. Even if you help him multiple times with his issues, you feel so far from him. You look down, to see a blonde haired guy sketching. You feel upset, knowing he is just sketching. It's like he is avoiding you.

- «Fuck off!»

It suddenly comes out of your mouth. It's not expected. You look back down, to know if he heard you, and he isn't here anymore.

- «Great, now he heard me swear. He might just hate me... Archons, what have I done wrong ?»

You close your eyes, as you feel tears rolling down your cheeks. He is always with Kaeya, Rosalia,... All those from the Knights of Favonius. Except for Klee, but he's like her caretaker. He isn't giving you any time. And you ? You can't stop crying anymore. You just spent few times with him and yet, even if you don't want to believe it, you fell in love. You don't know him that much. You just know his life is uncommon, and a kind of mystery.

You are about to do something you like to do. You stand on your feet, preparing your wings. Then, you let yourself fall. You know you have a change to die. It isn't what you wanted, it's just helpful when something is on your mind. Thought...

You feel a warm embrace surrouding you.

It's Albedo. Arms around you, letting his own wings out. Then, he slowly put his feet on the ground, still holding you. You've been a bit surprise, and ashamed. but why ?

- "Why have you done that, [Y/N] ?"

You don't know what to answer him. How did he climbed so fast? He might even hate what you've done.

Once you finally come back to the present, you quickly wave your hands in front of you, hoping you'd clear the situation.

- "It's not what you think! I didn't jumped to die! I just like the adrenaline!"

You can only hope he'll believe you, even if it'd be only understandable that he doesn't. You sigh and glance away. You've been foolish, and now you make your situation worst. You awkwardly chuckle and rub the back of your head.

- "I'm sorry I worried you... I promise I will-", you stop when you see him stare at you. Then, he speaks up.

- "I am worried for you because you came here all alone. I'm worried because you seem upset and sad. I may not understand emotions too well, but I'd be happy to listen to you if it helps you feel better."

You can't help a smile spreading on your face as you turn your head over the horizon, go look at the city from there. Then, you shoot a rock with your feet and admit.

- "I've been... Missing you a little bit. I wanted to come take news... Sorry if it was reckless from me."

He doesn't answer for a moment, and then he chuckles. He sighs in relief, extending his hand to you.

- "We shall go to my lab to talk then, shall we? I'll make you some warm tea or coffee. You seem rather cold."

A soft blush makes its way to your cheeks, and you carefully take his hand.

- "I'd be happy. If... You do not mind. I could even lend you a hand for your experiments."

- "It would be my pleasure."

He starts to walk to his lab, and you follow him, holding hands, fingers entertwined. You can't help but feel your heart jumping in your chest, and butterflies in your stomach. You can feel it'd the beginning of something stronger in coming.

A really really small oneshot to come back, woo-hoo! I started this one around six to seven months ago and finished it now at 3am when I'm supposed to be asleep since I need to go somewhere tomorrow...
I wrote my first smut two days ago??? I'm not sure if I want to post it, I'm kinda scared lmao
Maybe I will, maybe not. I'll see if I feel brave!
Otherwise hopes you've been good, my writing block is slowly getting away!! So you can expect me a little bit more around (not too much though...)
