Here's a Childe x Reader! There will be a similar oneshot with Zhongli, since my friend was curious about both in this!
I'll also try another type of writing, in a first POV because.. why not?

I wish I wouldn't have been here when they said that. I wish I would've been deaf. I wish I would've been aware of all the things they did. I was such a fool. None of them deserve me here.

- «... I'm taking my leaves.»

I have been fooled. I don't even care anymore if they look at me. I turned my head over them. I could feel tears in my eyes. They were surprised. I just ran. I ran as fast as I could. None of them deserve me here.

I should've been aware by now. They just used me. Here, my family, my friends, even my lover. They all used me. I've been a fool.

My legs hurt, and I wanted to rest, but I couldn't. I had to run until I found another village. I had to... Or they would find me and bring me back home. But none of them deserve me.

I could hardly breath. I'm running out of air. I could see someone, from afar. But I couldn't do anything anymore. I have no more strength. All I could remember before passing out, was me.. Screaming out for help, as the shadow turned to face me.

When I opened my eyes, I was against a tree. There was no one around me. I just had my mind to keep me company. I looked around, before hearing a male voice from behind.

- «Oh, you're awake.»

I turned my face to this tall man. He had long brown hair, ending in an orange tone, with a light white outfit with some brown and orange shade. He sat next to me, closing his eyes as the wind was softly pressing against me, making my hair flies a bit.

- «You don't seem to come from here.»

- «I.. Don't ?»

I couldn't help but be confused. I lowered my head and stared at my hands. A silence took place. I knew he was waiting for me to continue, but I didn't knew how to start over it. He's just a stranger, after all. He wouldn't care at all.

- «Were you running for a while ? Do you need a place to hide ?»

How did he knew all of that ? Am I that easy to read ? I closed my eyes, and sighed. It was pretty hard to explain, and I didn't wanted to lie. But I also didn't felt like telling him. I opened my mouth, starting a sentence, before being cut off.

- «Ah.. I should maybe go find something for you to eat.»

He stood up, facing me. He let out his hand, lending it to me. I hesitatingly took it. He didn't seemed like a bad guy. Nor.. He seemed pretty formal, or at least well mannered. He tightened his grip on my hand, and started to walk by.

We said nothing more. In fact, it was a peaceful silence. He was searching food for me, and I tried to help. I think he noticed I didn't wanted to talk about anything that happened for now.
