Back in Liyue, you were chatting with your good friend Zhongli. 

You used to know him for a while now. He was probably your closest friend.

He was at first working today, but then after few minutes, Hu Tao came in and entered in it. 

It was quite fun, to the point your cheeks were hurting.

- «Oh, also Zhongli! Would you please go to the bank ? I have moras to give them back!» she said while lending him a bag of moras.

He nodded. He would never refuse.

But you told to Hu Tao you would go with him, to chat a bit more before heading back to your own work.

It was as joyful as ever.

You were quickly at the bank, and you heard Zhongli's old friend's voice.

- «Dear Zhongli, here you are! Oh, and with a pretty person, is that your partner ?»

- «...Childe.» you said, trying not to punch him.

You kind of hated whenever people where putting him and you together.

Specially from Childe.

He has been for a long time your crush, even when you knew it shouldn't.

That's when you became closer to Zhongli, because he was here to comfort you.

Even when someone was being rude with you because of your feelings and behaviors toward him.

You felt a gaze on you, but when you looked around, you were only seeing both of them.

You looked back at them, before shaking your head and smiling.

- «Sorry, I thought I felt something but no.»

- «It's fine.»

As always, he was understanding, while he was trying as best as he could to keep Childe quiet, so he wouldn't do anything stupid.

...And not making you burn the whole bank thanks to your vision. 

Otherwise, Lady Ningguang and Lady Keqing would probably banish you from Liyue.

You were feeling a bit left out, since they started to talk together.

- «I'm going now, I have work to do.»

- «Aww... Already ? Won't you miss meee?»

- «Childe.»

It was Zhongli's calm tone to not make him go any further.
