31. Stillness - Avengers

Here is some angst to end it

Summary: After May's death it was a sort of stillness for Peter. He felt like the earth stopped and he was alone. Only thing is that Tony would catch him before he would do something bad.

Let's start the last chapter like I have started all chapters!

It's been now a few weeks since May died in a fatal car accident. The day it happened it was a bad day for Peter. His tingle had been going off the whole day and he didn't know why it was going off.

However the same time that Aunt May died his tingle had stopped tingling. The moment his tingle stopped he got the call from the hospital.

He had been scared because he didn't know what had happened to May. So when he came into the hospital and said how the doctors looked his world came crashing down and he basically shut down.

Not only went his senses somewhat quiet. It also became still around him. He had to do everything to declare her death and he had done everything on autopilot. While his mind went to the day itself. And began to think of how he could have avoided the accident from happening. And no matter what his therapist told him it wasn't his fault. The guilt never went away.

So a few days after that and he was with Tony he was quiet and was still going after what he felt that day. He had always felt like he would bury his aunt. But he would have thought he would say goodbye and not the same thing that happened to his aunt.

They didn't have an argument or anything and he had told her he loved her that day. But still he felt like he didn't say a proper goodbye.

When Tony had brought him home he felt like he could shut down. Because of this he had gone to his room and had fallen into bed. Here he had laid doen for a long while and didn't get up even when Tony had asked him to.

It had been a few days when he began to get up a little bit at the time. He didn't know why Tony was still there. And why he didn't let him fall yet.

He felt like he didn't belong with Tony at all. He felt like he should have gone to somewhere else instead of here sometimes.

The stillness around him also didn't go away after a few days. His senses felt like they were dulled. This was the reason why he didn't want to do anything. He had wanted to just stay in bed and not Spiderman. He knew that would be a bad idea.

But he also felt like he should do something because he needed to help the people from New York.

He had been standing in the middle of his room when Tony had walked in. He had asked Peter if he would like to do something with him. When Peter didn't answer he knew that he should just let it go and went in another room.

Tony would still try that day because he felt like that Peter had to eat something. Otherwise something would happen to him.

What he didn't know however was that Peter his senses were going off in a same way that they were going off as when May had died.

This was one of the reasons why he didn't want to go. He had wanted to say this to Tony but he didn't want to hurt Tony into thinking that he didn't want to go.

It was a while later when Tony came in again. "Do you want to go get ice cream?" Peter shook his head. "Bad feeling." Tony looked a bit surprised at the answer but he walked to Peter and sat down on the bed. "You have a bad feeling, Bud?" Peter nodded. "Same feeling as then."

He couldn't say that his aunt died. Bot yet. Then it would be more real to him. What he also didn't know was that Pepper had gone out to go to Morgan. This however would be the last time he would see Pepper.

When he heard about Pepper going to pick Morgan up. He got frustrated. He began to get even more frustrated when Tony didn't get it that he wanted to save Pepper.

So instead of Tony and Peter going to Pepper and probably trying to save her. Peter went alone. This however ended up being a more worse idea.

Because Peter was somewhat new to driving and had his license not that kong yet and he still couldn't hear everything because of the stillness in his senses. He would never hear anything happening around him until it would be too late.

This unfortunately happened to Peter. He got hit by a truck. This truck was meant to be for Pepper an intersection farther away. Because Peter went to Pepper he was the one that was hit.

Unfortunately for Peter he didn't die in the accident. No he was still alive but would be in a world of pain and would he in a bliss for a long time.

When Tony came to know about what had happened he had freaked out. He was angry at Peter for leaving. But also at himself. He felt like he should have listened to Peter.

When he went to the hospital for Peter he was allowed into the room. But only for one person at the time. Here he heard that if Peter would survive that he would never be able to walk or talk again. He would be an empty shell of what he once was.

The nurses had put him into a medical coma. The reason was so that Tony could choose in what he wanted to do. Pull the plug or let him live.

It would take some time for Tony to even make a choice. Because he would think for a long time that Peter would be okay because of his healing factor. The problem about this prognosis however was that even though he still had his powers. His powers didn't work because he was still grieving for his aunt.

He would never be okay with May dying. So when he was hit by the truck he would either end up being alone for a long time.

In the end Tony's choice was hard for him but he choose for Peter to let him die peacefully. He however would always live with the consequences of not listening to Peter and would always think of how he could have done different. The day when they would pull the plig Tony had begged Peter for a sign.

He had begged and begged what he should do. In the end? He did get a sign. And that was when he went to bed that night. He got a vision of Peter running around with his parents and aunts and uncle's. Here he also saw what would happen if he wouldn't pull the plug.

Peter would in a constant stillness for as long as he would live. He would be around Tony and when Tony would die he would also slowly and painfully die.

In the end Tony choose to pull the plug and he was with Peter the whole time when he would pass away peacefully. When he died he swear on his live he saw May in the corner of the room and Peter walking to her. They would hug and turn back to Tony and smile a little before they would disappear.

He also heard May say that Peter would be safe with her and that they would wait for him and the rest of the family. They would still be family.

However when he couldn't hold it anymore and he blinked away the tears it disappeared. When he asked Pepper about it later she told she didn't see anything and that he was asleep when Peter died and that he woke up a few seconds later.

As if he was in a trance. In the end when Tony died? He would be welcomed by the Parker family. And he would always watch over his other family that would come into the world.

I'm so sorry guys for this one. I honestly felt like I began to cry at some point and somewhere I hope I made you guys also cry...

Anyway I hope you guys liked the spooktober event. In the next chapter I will say a few more things!
