Koa sped wildly to the two men, signaling for them to get in but they found it impossible to get through the endless amount of supplies and guns.

"What the hell, where the hell did you get all this shit?" Daryl said pushing a rifle off his lap.

"Came from a hunter family tree, ran away with some, found the rest."

Daryl's eyes laid on the crossbow in the passenger seat, the reason nobody was up there.

"You shoot that thing or just keep it as decoration?" Daryl said

"Please, been shooting it since I was a kid." Her words surprised Daryl and his mind began asking questions he didn't ask.

"So you go off well with walkers?" Rick said as they sped up to the car making small talk.

"I'd like to think so, only been out here killing em. Never got bit so far so I think I'm doing pretty good." Koa said as she pressed onto the gas a little more, better at driving.

They eventually reached and follows the big U-Haul truck and the men were surprised by Koa's dedication to getting their supplies back as she followed him as Jesus ran out of the car and into the barn Feild, scared of what would happen to him.

The men chased each other around and Koa couldn't help but giggle a little bit as they looped around each other, like kids.
Jesus was slow but made quick turns, eventually though the boys had him at gunpoint after stealing their car back barely.

"Don't shoot, please." Jesus pleaded and eventually him and rock started talking, Daryl sat their as Rick had to basically drag him away from killing the bastard and asked me for my help.

"Don't waste your arrows, not worth some self claimed 'jesus'" Koa said between her teeth.

"Not wastin nothin." His reply was short and quick.

"Still, he's just trying to provide." Koa was very open minded and understanding of people no matter what they did.

"By stealing our shit!"

Koa pulled a Twinkie out of one of the pockets on her cargo pants and split it with him.

"Thanks." He was genuinely confused as to why she just had a Twinkie in her pocket but he appreciated it, he didn't eat much at the community to save it for those who really needed it, he hunted plenty though and he ate what he needed.

A few walkers stumbled by, some slipping free of the chains they were tied to in the barn and stumbling towards the two.

"So, uh what's your name anyway?"

"I'm Koa Cordova."

"Well, Koa-" Daryl was stopped with his words, he liked how her name sounded in his mouth, it rolled off his tongue and it distracted him.

"Let's see how well you really are." Daryl said stepping back leaving Koa alone with the walkers but close enough to let her know he wouldn't let her die.

Koa flipped her blade out of the holster and began sinking it into the heads of the dead.
Unlike before, their bodies had become rotten and their limbs had begun to tear after all like a walking decomposing corpse.

Without a sound she had killed all of them and she hadn't even gotten close to being bitten, something that took Daryl aback.

"Where the hell you learn to do all that." His eyes looked up at her and his eyebrows scrunched together slightly.
She could see his blue eyes for the first time and wondered how something so colorful could ever be hidden.

"I don't know, instinct." Koa swiped the blade on the thigh of her pant leg and put it back in the holster quickly, she was lethal and Daryl knew she would do fine as a hunter but he really didn't feel like inviting her to a tea party right now.

They walked back to Rick, where they had found them humanely talking, both standing and no weapons out, but Rick always had his hand resting on his pistol.

"So, it's a deal then Rick?" Jesus said holding his hand out smirking.

"What the hell!" Daryl got mad and Koa debated trying to calm him but there was no use.

"This prick just almost stole all our damn supplies! You gon' sit there and make deals with em?" His words made Rick give a type of dumb stare as Jesus looked defensive and Koa sat back awkwardly.

They sat there and argued about it but then Rick explained that Jesus had a community that theirs could maybe make trade routes and he was willing to check it out.

The men began to their big U-Haul truck and Jesus was getting ready to squeeze in as Rick looked back.

"Hey! Where you think you're goin?" Rick called to Koa.

"Back to my gas station I guess!" They were both yelling from the distance and Rick smiled as he pushed Jesus out of the car.

"Jesus will go with me, Daryl go with her. We need that baby food for Maggie." Whoever Rick was he seemed to be in some sort of leadership and Koa noticed it quickly.

Koa opened her door and moved the bow to the back, removing any space back there and offering the seat to Daryl that didn't even look at her.

"Maggie, she had a baby?" Koa asked trying to fill the empty air with some sort of conversation.

"No."

"Expecting one?"

"Mhm" Daryl's fingers tapped his jeans as he responded.

They drove for a long time, Rick threatening Jesus most of the way and Daryl and Koa stayed silent.
Koa had no idea how quiet the world had gotten since the original 'end of the world panic' and just as she had expected everyone rioting and burning things had eventually all died, their fire ending with them.

But all that also meant more dead walked the earth, and that also means that only survivors were left, the lethal ones like Koa, the Raiders like Jesus, and the communities that everyone in between belonged too.
