LOUIS' P.O.V.

After my meeting with Tyler and a long overdue conversation with Mr. Walker I let myself fall back in my chair in my classroom with a sigh. I wasn't proud to be the reason why someone was suspended from school, but in this case he really deserved it. I didn't do that just because it was Harry, no. I would stand up for everyone in this situation. Tyler was an idiot who wasn't educated enough and apparently didn't bother about educating himself either. He was one of those people who only cared about themselves and I despised people like that.

Someone knocked on the door and I raised my head to see who it was. Of course it was Eleanor. She was following me around like a lost puppy these days and I had no idea why. Well, I did, probably because she liked me, but I never gave her any indication that I felt the same way. I was just being polite, but apparently people saw it as flirting or shit. Sighing, I motioned for her to come in and she opened the door cheerfully.

"Hello, Louis." She chirped and I faked a smile.

"Hi, Eleanor. What's going on?" I straightened my back sitting up in my chair properly now as she approached me and stopped in front of my desk. She brushed a lock from her face and looked at me through her eyelashes.

"I just wanted to know if you are free after the teacher's conference on Tuesday and wanted to grab a drink." She wondered.

"Uhm, I don't know. That's almost a week away." I chuckled awkwardly, not knowing how to deny her really.

"Yes, I know. But I thought the sooner I asked, the better." She smiled and I groaned internally.

"I let you know when I know if I'm free, alright?" I said smiling slightly hoping she would take the hint and leave.

"Alright. I'll see you at lunch then?" She asked hopefully and I nodded.

"Sure." I said looking down at my paperwork to show her that I was busy. She nodded and left the classroom and I dropped my head on the table. I just wanted to go home and spend some time with Harry. I had already prepared something to ask him to be my boyfriend. It was long overdue, but tonight was the night.

Luckily I got through the day without any complications and I even saw Harry a few times during school and that always gave me a boost to make it through. Before going grocery shopping I wanted to stop by the hospital to see my mother. She might be coming home tomorrow, but I just wanted to see her as often as possible. When I was leaving the hospital I bumped into one of my students and my fists clenched involuntarily.

"Oh, hello, Mr. Tomlinson. I didn't see you there." He said smiling at me with his teeth on full display.

"It's alright, Nick." I smiled at him slightly through clenched teeth.

"It's funny seeing you here when I only saw you an hour ago at school." He chuckled and I honestly didn't know what he wanted from me, but it was slowly getting on my nerves.

"Yeah. Funny. The world is small." I replied.

First he said nothing to that and I was about to turn around and leave when suddenly he asked me a question for which I wasn't prepared for and I didn't know why but I didn't have a good feeling about it.

"Do you happen to have a spare minute or two?"

"Uh, sure." I looked around but the people who were waiting or walking down the corridor didn't take notice of us.

Nick turned around and I followed him slowly until we were standing in an empty waiting room and the door fell shut behind me.

"So, how can I help you?" I asked when he said nothing but stared at me with a faint smirk on his lips.
