HARRY'S P.O.V

When we returned to school on Monday the whole atmosphere in our classroom was much better and more relaxed than ever. It was probably because of our trip to Paris over the weekend and the good mood showed during the lessons, especially in English. We all thanked Louis for the opportunity and he was delighted. Everyone was motivated to do their best in his classes and I was so proud and happy for him because I knew how important it was for him to have a good relationship with the students. I noticed that he looked a little tired, but I shrugged it off and reasoned it with the fact that we only got back yesterday and he had told me he was exhausted in the evening anyway.

I didn't go over to Louis after school unlike usual and went home instead. My mum had a day off and we spent some time together. Around five o'clock I got a text from Louis asking me if I wanted to go out and have dinner with him, which of course I accepted after I asked my mum if it was okay, but she reassured me that it was fine because she was going out herself with a friend.

I was about to pick out some clothes when my mum came into my room sitting on the bed.

"When will I meet him?" She asked me and I stopped in my tracks with a blouse between my fingers I just wanted to grab to try it on.

"Uh, I don't know...Maybe...at some point?" I said awkwardly.

"Aha." She arched an eyebrow at me and I could feel her gaze boring in my back.

"We just want to enjoy our time together without complications." I reasoned.

"Why should it be complicated when I meet him?" My mum asked and I rolled my eyes and was glad she couldn't see. "I just want to get to know the guy that makes my son happy. You've been dating for months now and I don't even know his name."

"Mum, please!" I groaned. I had absolutely not idea what to say to her without giving anything away, so I was relieved when she sighed defeated.

"Alright, alright. Fine. Let me at least help you choose something to wear. You want to look good for your loverboy, right?" She smiled smugly and got off the bed approaching me casually. "How about simple black skinnies with this nice button up?" She pointed to a white blouse with a pink floral pattern.

"I don't know." I said hesitantly. It looked a bit feminine and I didn't know if Louis liked it especially on a boy. I didn't want to shock him or shoo him away with that.

"Harry, you're beautiful either way and if he really loves you, then he will accept you for everything. You like to dress like this, but you're always afraid to wear them. Why?" My mum asked genuinely curious.

"Because it's not manly." I scoffed slumping my shoulders.

"What even is the definition of manly? That's bullshit, Harry. And anyway, who cares? You can wear whatever you want. Give it a try." She nudged me when I looked at her sceptically. But she was right. Louis would never judge me, he would accept me how I was.

"Thank you, mum. Really." I said gratefully and she pulled me into her arms rubbing my back.

"Always." She said and placed a kiss on my forehead. "Now change and I see you downstairs." She said and slapped my bum before walking out of my room. I looked after her shaking my head amused before getting dressed. I decided against black skinny jeans and instead on gray checkered dress pants.

Louis texted me that he was there and I ran down the stairs after taming my curls and said goodbye to my mum. I walked down the street where he always picked me up- of course we always checked if Nick was there, but he wasn't- and I saw him already leaning against the side of his car waiting for me.
