I was surprised to see Sherry inside my condo. I saw her cooking with just my long sleeves on. Mahaba iyun at natatakpan hanggang pwitan.
"Why are you here? " she doesn't even looked like Sherry a year ago. Tadtad na siya ng tattoo at piercings.
"Hi babe. Did you miss me?"
Eversince the break-up, wala na kaming communication at all, I deleted everything that reminded me of her. Now she's here in my kitchen, cooking. Great.
" I said why are you here?? Damn it.!!" Malamig kong sabi.
" We made love you know!! " she said.
By the looks of it. Hindi na ako nagtaka. Wala na ang dating Sherry.
" I was just in the influence of liquor. Will you please get out of my place?? Please?? " im still expressionless.
" not until you forgive me. " then she smirked. She prepared her dish..
Ever since, she is a great cook.
Bumuntong hininga nalang ako. Its like she don't have any plan to get off my place anyway.
" Well then, let's eat. " ito nalang ang mga nasabi ko.
Then we started talking like the old times.
" So how are you?? " tsaka siya sumubo ng fried rice na linuto niya.
" Im doing good, I think" sabay tiningnan ang highrise building ng TS Realm, tanaw kasi iyon mula sa aking condo.
" I see. Beside of that thing, how's your heart? " she said..
" Its still beating." I said, then smirked. i'm never comfortable with this kind of conversation.
The way she smile, the way she blink, siya pa din yung Sherry na minahal ko dati, But everything is all over for us.. and I've move on, so is she.
" How about you? Are you happy now?? " sabi ko.
" Look at me Trevor, do i look happy?? " Biglang nanginginig na ang kanyang boses.
Kapagkwan ay nalaglag na ang patak ng mga luha niya. I felt her softness mixed with regret and anger. She's broken.
" I am filthy and wasted Trevor. But this is what I chose. I'm really happy that you are very successful despite of all your lost back then, I fellt so sorrh for myself that I let you down and left you hanging. Pinagbayaran ko na lahat yon Trevor. I hope you forgiven me. I really hope. " she cried.
