If I have a daughter at this point in my life, whether she be 3 or 30, I'll be gifting her with these books of poetry.

• All the poetry books of "Rupi Kaur." (If R.K was a school, I'll sit at the front desk of class. Well, I took that sit once. Rupi is such a god).

• "Questions for Ada" by Ijeoma Umebinyuo.

And if I have a son? He'd have heard them all before he knows how to spell his name. I won't leave the training of my child(ren) to society. Society is so warped.

I'mma be that typpa Dad...

Well, the post is not about me.

These women bring the true image of the woman to the fore. They make me dine with poetry and wash down the meal with contemplations.

Gods in mortal flesh.

So, to all the women on my list, I gift you with the beautiful works of these beautiful souls. They share your journey. They share your story. They share your glory.

Peace, gods.

Peace.
