Chapter 5

Anya, Yor, and Loid stared at the board in horror, while the twins looked unbothered. "Huh... Figured we wouldn't pass" Sukuna commented nonchalantly. "The teachers suck here anyways" (Y/n) added with a shrug, slightly glad he no longer needs to wear the ugly uniform. Anya let out a sniffle, having been quite worried about this unlucky outcome, catching the family's attention.

"Hey, let's head back home" Loid suggested, in a vain attempt to cheer her up. "Yeah, I can make some tea, while your brother cooks some food" Yor added while glancing at Sukuna for some help. "Tch, whatever" Sukuna grumbled as he stared off to the side to avoid her gaze. "I'm so sorry... It's all because I stepped in that poo-poo!" Anya mumbled trying her best to not cry. "I don't think that's the case" (Y/n) butted in, sweatdropping.

"Excuse me, but may I have a moment of your time, Forgers?" Henry interrupted as he stepped out of the shadows of the tree. Leading them to a secluded area, he handed Loid a piece of paper. "What is this?" Loid asked, confused by the piece of paper with names on it. "See the names, at the top?" Henry asked, causing Loid to glance at the paper again.

"It's Anya, (Y/n), and Sukuna, but..." Loid trailed off, still confused. "The waiting list of successful applicants, confidential of course" Henry explained, despite it saying so on the paper. "So, we're accepted or not?" Sukuna asked, getting quite impatient. "Not precisely, it means if any of the applicants withdraw, you three can be offered that place" Henry explained, catching Yor and Loid's attention.

"Wait... But, I thought we weren't being accepted after our outburst" (Y/n) commented, fully aware of his actions during the interview. "Care to guess which of the creatures on this planet are the most lethal?" Henry asked randomly. Suddenly, Anya and (Y/n) pointed at Sukuna. "Wh- HEY! Why the hell are you two pointing at me?!" Sukune exclaimed as he glared at his siblings.

"Hilarious... No, it's mosquitos, I noticed one of you killed one on your way out. So, therefore, your score increased tremendously" Henry lied, earning a deadpanned look from Loid. "Even if that is true... That's just ridiculous" Loid grumbled, not buying Henry's bullshit. "Stand proud, Forgers, your family is worthy of joining our school," Henry said, completely ignoring Loid's comment.

"Wait, so if a student or three drop out... We get accepted, right?" Sukuna asked with a mischievous smirk. Yor suddenly shook her head, refusing to murder an innocent person. But Anya stared at Sukuna horrified, realizing he will kill someone, if he hasn't already. "No! Bad Suki!" Anya exclaimed as she grabbed his arm, interrupting his plot for murder.

"Tch, you're no fun" Sukuna complained, those poor victims better be thanking Anya for saving their lives. "It's no matter, every year there are a few that withdraw for various reasons. So please, prepare yourselves for that eventuality" Henry reassured, easing their minds. "Master Henderson, thank you," Loid said gratefully, a bit happy his mission hasn't ended yet. "Forgers, you should also prepare for the eventuality that I will not be here when you arrive" Henry added as he looked away from them.

"I was forced to give Swan a good thrashing, thus punishing me for the consequences of my actions," Henry said, basically saying he was fired. "Is there anything we can do to help? My brother and I are the ones who initiated it" (Y/n) commented, looking quite remorseful. "Elegant attempt at comfort, young man, I appreciate that. For now, simply await the call" Henry advised, leaving the Forgers to continue on with their day.

Three days had passed, and Anya was the most excited about their acceptance to the school. "We're going to get into that school! We're going to get into that school!" Anya chanted as she and (Y/n) bounced around, hand in hand. "Heh, loser, he got stuck jumping around like an idiot" Sukuna mocked as he watched his siblings being idiots.
