Taehyung kept glancing in Jungkook's way, but the head alpha seems eerily calm, more like aloof, avoiding even, he kind of wants to ask why it was him and Yuk-hei selected to tour the leader around the school which the older alpha himself has passed out from.

But, of course, he chooses to stay silent, speaking minimum to no words while on the other hand Yuk-hei just doesn't shut up, the young alpha talks about and explains about everything, throwing a few jokes here and there on which the leader laughs and pats the young alpha's back.

God, Taehyung is so clueless about everything and that's starting to throw him in the pit of his anxiousness which has been growing every passing second.

"So, this is our sports court," Yuk-hei announces, pushing the huge doors, switching on the lights before he invites the head alpha in the empty court, "come in, Sir."

Taehyung looks up at the head alpha seeing the head alpha's eyes shine in nostalgia, a soft smile lifting up his lips.

"I have spent more of my time here than anywhere else in the school campus," the sir says, "I was the basketball captain. We even won the nationals twice."

"Ah," Yuk-hei nods enthusiastically, "I am the football captain so I'm more outside on the grounds, our school doesn't anymore have a basketball team, it's just football, our team is mixed of boys and girls, of all ranks!" He speaks with so much passion. "While I am the captain, the vice captain is an omega girl named Cha Sulli, don't tell anyone but I kinda have this huge crush on her." He whispers and the older alpha laughs lightheartedly.

Somehow, the sir seemed more relaxed after Yuk-hei's statement, Taehyung thinks that it must be something related to the older feeling territorial but at the same time it might just not be.

Ignoring everything, Taehyung has an important matter to discuss, "hey! You traitor, you never even mentioned Sulli to me! Friends you say? My fucking ass!" He sneered, crossing his arms around his chest, huffing.

"Language." The sir sighs but just shakes his head. "You should learn to control your tongue, Taehyung-shi."

Yuk-hei looks like he is going to burst out laughing any moment and still adds in a teasing tone, "exactly, Taehyung never speaks before thinking twice."

"That's both good and a bad trait." The head alpha hums as he walks around, his eyes darting everywhere as if reminiscing memories of his teenage days. "I wish I could play here again with my friends and hear the cheers of the crowd of my name again and find my family sitting in the first row screaming my name." He chuckles. "My father and mother both would yell out my name every time I scored, my hyung —God, I miss him— he used to create these embarrassing charts with glitter hearts and all and used to scream obscene things."

"I'm sorry for your loss," Taehyung mumbled, seeing the sir only wave his hand in the air while the head alpha stares at a particular place in the front row, probably where his family must sit during his games.

"Sorry for your loss," Yuk-hei repeats.

"It's been years I'm quite over it, still thank you." The head alpha looks back and gives him a smile, a sad, melancholic smile that has Taehyung's heart squeezing until he could feel the pain spreading in his chest.

"I have this question," Yuk-hei mumbles, seemingly rethinking his entire life, "I mean the whole pack is so unknown to your love life, have you ever had a first love? In high school at least?"

"Ah, my first love," the leader chuckles shaking his head, "I'd tell you only if you two promise not to tell anyone, and yeah Jimin-shi is allowed to know," he looks right at Taehyung whose cheeks have already started to burn with the amount of blood flowing in there, "either ways, there is nothing that falls on your ears and Jimin-shi doesn't know about it, right Taehyung-shi?"
