"You look like shit." Yuk-hei whispers and Taehyung seriously feels like swinging a punch aiming at the alpha's jaw would be the best thing he's done for the past month. "Don't even get me started on the awful haircut you're walking around with."

"Will you please stop talking about my hair?" Taehyung grits his teeth, his eyes feeling heavy as he tries his best to focus on the book his mentor has given him to read and from which she's gonna give him a quiz. "I'm trying to study."

"Well you aren't studying what the teacher is teaching." Yuk-hei peeks in the book the omega is reading. "What the hell is this book even?"

"Something about learning to keep and initiate public relations." Taehyung answers as he closes the book and lays his head down over the desk, closing his eyes. "I have to read it through."

"You have to learn?"

"No."

"Then?"

"It's complicated."

"I'd rather listen to you talking about this rather than hearing Mr. Kwon talk about the conclusion of some chemical reaction happening ." Yuk-hei pokes the omega's cheek. "Are you really asleep? Come on. This is the only time we could talk and you're sleeping."

Sighing, Taehyung opens his eyes and blinks up at the alpha, his eyes shifting to look at Jimin who usually is always seated beside him but since a month he's been sitting on the farthest corner because their homeroom teacher had suddenly thought to assign them different places.

He really did underestimate the head alpha's control and power over the whole pack and this isn't even a single percent of how much his command influences the crowd of Blue Moon.

Sir Jeon just needs to say a word and the pack members are literally on top of each other in the hurry of accomplishing the head alpha's word.

Jeon Jungkook is powerful. Very, really, powerful. Invincible even.

Yuk-hei flicks Taehyung's forehead and the omega winces before glaring at the alpha. "What?" He hisses.

"Answer me." Yuk-hei rolls his eyes. "I wanna hear you, you've been awfully quiet and I don't like it." He softly reaches out to ruffle the omega's short hair. "I hate your hair, please start wearing a cap or something next time. You look ugly."

Taehyung sniffles before his eyes water as he thinks about how Yuk-hei had been the only one throughout the month who talked to him, he was a bit skeptical over it honestly. While Jimin had completely shut him down, Yuk-hei was here right beside him.

However, the alpha is also irritatingly annoying and just wouldn't stop complaining about how his hair doesn't match his face. He really has no option but to cling to the least of interaction, that isn't just him learning and picking up things from either his teachers or his mentor.

"It's like," he gulps the bile in his throat, "this book is all about manners and ethics and communication skills that a high ranking werewolf must have," he he rubs his knuckles under his nose to keep himself away from just bursting out crying, "so, Mrs. Ko will give me a situation as such and ask me about how I'll act through it. I know it's not exactly a quiz but that's what we have termed such conditional behavioural study as for short."

Yuk-hei is silent for a moment and Taehyung tilts his head waiting for the alpha to say something but he just smiles.

"You're doing great, Tae." He reaches out and holds Taehyung's hand, squeezing the small palm in comfort. "Remember all of this would be worth it. You are worth it. Don't lose your hope, ugly haircut." He adds and Taehyung hits the alpha aiming at his bicep just wanting to hug the other.
