Working Together

"You asked me to come here, for that?" Karai asked, sounding annoyed. 

"We have a common enemy. If we work together, we will both get what we want." Tiger Claw replied in his usual nonchalant tone.

"I don't want Shinigami having anything to do with this!!" Karai hissed.

"Oh..we won't need your friend.." Tiger Claw replied, an evil smirk finding it's way to his face.

"My sons!" Master Splinter called from the dojo. The turtles went into the dojo, they all sat down but noticed two were missing.

"Where are your brothers..?" Splinter asked sternly.

Leo and Raph looked at each other, they hadn't seen Donnie or Mikey since their argument, they had been so busy fighting they didn't notice their younger brothers.

"Let's go find them.." Leo said nervously. He didn't like not knowing where his younger brothers were, especially Mikey and Donnie. Because they're the youngest. The two oldest start looking around the lair.

"I'm sure they're fine fearless.." Raph came into the room Leo was in, and saw a horrible, terrified look on his face..

"Leo...?" Raph moved closer to Leo only to realize that both Donnie and Mikey's weapons and gear are on the kitchen table.

"They left their weapons and gear here..!" Leo yelled in frustration. "Don't they get how unsafe that is!? They could be kidnapped, attacked...anything could happen!"

"It doesn't sound like Donnie to just forget his gear though..." Raph mentioned.

Then they heard it...laughing. It was coming from the right tunnels. Leo took off and Raph followed closely behind, Leo kept running until he got to the source of the laughter. He slowed down, and crept around the corner.

"I-...I..can't calm down now..!" Leo and Raph heard more laughter.

Leo peeked around the corner and saw his purple and orange clad brothers. His face turned from stone cold, and melted in an instant. His face now had a relived smile on it. Raph exhaled, but knew his younger brothers were totally gonna be yelled at by 'Mother hen Leo.' That's when Raph realized Leo was smirking at him, his ninja eyes on, he held his point finger to his lips. Raph knew what Leo was doing, and he was going to watch every part of it. Leo quietly crawled up the pipes on the cieling and dropped a smoke bomb. Instantly, Mikey and Donnie stopped laughing and became aware of their surroundings.

"Uh....Dee..? I thought you said this place was safe..!" Mikey exclaimed, a small bit of fear in his voice.

"It is safe! I made it so we could hear if the man-hole cover opens." Donnie replied, trying to analyze the situation.

"Well maybe we couldn't hear it over our laughter..?" Mikey suggested.

"Not possible. I programmed it to be so loud that the lair could probably hear it." Donnie explained.

"Then...that means whatever's here with us...Was already in the sewers!!" Mikey yelled.

"Shhhh! Don't be too loud shell-brain!" Donnie whispered, he turned around and saw a shadow behind Mikey. Immediately, his big brother instincts kicked in and he went between the shadow and his little brother, and aimed a roundhouse kick, only to realize the shadow is gone.

"What the-.."

Mikey looked around the clouded area, terrified. He could barely see anything. 

"Donnie...?" he called out. 

Mikey didn't realize that there was a shadow behind him, so Donnie was behind him and then disappeared. He saw a light shadow approaching him, and reached for his nunchucks.

"Aw man! I totally left my nunchucks in the lair!!" Mikey whined.

The figure started running at him so he did something unpredictable. He punched the figure right in the face. The figure fell to the ground, not expecting the punch. Finally the smoke cleared up and revealed who Mikey just punched in the face.

"LEO!?"
