Battle Nexus!!

"LEO!?"

But Leonardo didn't even blink when he saw the orange clad turtle. He pulled out his katanas and stood, ready to attack.

"Leo..! Dude it's me, Mikey! I'm so happy to see you..!"

Mikey started running over to Leo, and that's when Leo finally moved. He ran towards Mikey, but then jumped over him and kicked him to the ground. Mikey felt the pain from that kick, as it winded him for a couple seconds.

"Dude what was that? Why'd you attack me!?" Mikey gasped.

Leonardo only stood, his position was ready for anything.

That's not Leo.. He can't hear me.. I'm not getting through to him..

Mikey knew he had to do something in order for Leo to recognize him..

"Dude..what happened to-.."

Leo had disappeared and reappeared right in front of Mikey, he punched Mikey in the ribs, leaving a nasty bruise. Mikey fell on his knees, his hand on the bruise. He struggled to breathe. He couldn't fight Leo..he wasn't skilled enough..he-...

Something's wrong with him... he looks like he hasn't slept in days.

Mikey noticed how different Leo's eyes looked from the last time he saw his big brother. Usually they are sparkly blue, but they seem less blue, and are dull. They have the smallest bit of grey on the outside.

Did Shredder do something to him..?

Mikey was reminded of what Shredder said earlier. "He was one of the two I didn't perfect."

Shredder must've done something to Leo, so he doesn't recognize me anymore..!

As soon as Mikey mustered the energy to stand, he was knocked down again by a slam down the back his shell by none other than his eldest brother, Leonardo. Mikey hit the ground again and it hurt a lot more than last time.

Ugh..he won't even give me a minute to stand up.. What the shell am I supposed to do!?

Mikey stood again, but this time Leonardo swung his katana at his head, which Mikey evaded, but it was close enough to leave a scratch on his face. He was off balanced by the sudden attack, so he fell to the ground once again. The cheering only got louder.

Every time Mikey stood up, Leo continued to knock him down, or attack him. He gave the orange turtle no time to counter-attack. Mikey was running out of options. He was exhausted, and had bruises and cuts all over his body. He hadn't even attacked Leo yet.

Breathe Mikey..breathe. What would Sensei do..?

Mikey tried to think, but other thoughts and memories started to invade his thoughts. Memories of Leo, when they were younger, singing to him when he was scared. Or when Leo read Mikey's favorite book to him, and because he couldn't read yet. Mikey's thoughts became overwhelming and Leo knocked Mikey down to the ground again, only this time, Mikey made no attempt to get up.

The crowd went silent, and Leonardo out his left foot on Mikey's shell. He got his katana out and pointed it at Mikey's head.

Mikey simply looked at him. His older brother, the one he respected the most was about to kill him. Tears forced their way into Mikey's eyes and a couple slipped down his face.

I'm so sorry Leo.. for whatever they did to you..

Mikey smiled at Leo, and he looked shocked. Suddenly everything came crashing down in Leo's world. The fantasy of being in the footclan was all fiction. He wasn't in the footclan, he never was. How did he end up like this? He looked down at Mikey, his foot on his little brother's shell. He looked at his body and saw tons of minor injuries.

I did this to him..

Leo took his foot off of Mikey's shell, he held his katana over his head. Mikey winced and closed his eyes, while the crowd only cheered louder.

And Leonardo stabbed the sword into the thing in front of him, and everything ended.
