Standing out here in the freezing cold that was New York's weather was already painful enough.

But the black heels I so unfortunately slapped on today was adding to that.

After work I had to go to my local gaming store, the new installment of my beloved game series, well one of them, had just dropped and I just so happened to pre-ordered.

Amira also wanted to see me, so it was a win-win.

But there was a line, I assume all these people pre-ordered.

'Just my fucking luck.'

After what seemed like decades I walk in.

"Are you also a pre-orderer?" The man spoke, "Yes I am."

He hands me the game and I softly caress it like an insane person.

'Aki-Chan. You rascal. It's been a while since I saw you...'

I run out as happy as ever, it was time for me to fall into an obsession with this game for the next couple of weeks.

"Noami." I hear a velvety voice say behind me, "a-amira!" I panic, hiding the game behind me, "Hey!"

"What's that you got there?" She says, giving me a cheek warming kiss, "i-it's nothing... it's very dorky..."

"Whatever it is will only make you cuter to me." She smiles and I feel like I busted my gay lung.

"It's a game series..." I say, "I'm kinda a gamer? I pre-ordered this a month ago... and now it's out and I'm gonna cram!"

I blush, "Oh but don't worry, I'll still have time for you... a-and to take care of myself if that's what you're thinking..."

She smiles, "I'm glad, but I was thinking about something else...." Her tone was very matter-of-fact.

"Oh..." I practically moan out, "We can totally do that still... i-if you want..."

She raises her eyebrow, "NOW?" I say, "Well I was heading home so—"

"Noami baby, I wasn't talking about that, but if you want, my car is parked around here." She bites her lip.

'Did me being a gamer just score a win?'

I shake my gay thoughts out of my head, "Anyways! What were you actually thinking?"

She smirks, pulling me in close to her, "I actually knew about your gaming, aki-chan was it?"

I feel like I just busted another lung at that, "y-yes! a-aki-chan!"

She chuckles, "I remember you were angry because your phone case broke, but you couldn't find the time to buy another one."

She pulls out something from her coat pocket, "So, I bought you this."

My eyes widen.

It was a limited edition aki-chan phone case, it was highly rare, only a few were made, and considered a collectors item in the akiano fandom.

And on top of that, you could only buy it in Japan, I begged my parents that if they even saw it at the store to buy it immediately, but before I knew it, it was sold out when I went to visit.

And here it was, in the hands of Amira, giving it to me, as a gift.

I feel my face heat up immediately and she giggles, "I-i- u-um i-"

"Take your time getting your words out baby."

'THIS IS TOO MUCH FOR MY GAY BRAIN!'

I grab the case my hands shaking, "Do you understand how big this is right now?"

She nods, "The man who sold it too me say that as well, it didn't matter to me, I wanted it for my girlfriend so I bought it."

"I know it was probably so fucking expensive...."

"Oh it was, but I didn't think about that, I only thought about how flushed you would be about it."

She kisses me, "And here we are."

I stutter out some words, "Amira, you don't know how happy this makes me... I have to repay you somehow..."

She looks up thinking, "I know how you can repay me..."

I blush, "h-how?"

"Put it on. I wanna see it on your case."

"That's all?"

"Oh, and enjoy the game for me." She smiles, "Done deal?"

I wanted to cry right then.

"Okay!" I say, quickly getting my phone out and unwrapping the case out of his plastic bag.

It wasn't a fake either, the mole on Aki-chan's face was there and everything.

Seeing it paired with the cute picture of Amira as my lockscreen made me tear up a bit.

'My heart!'

I couldn't help but cry, my overly sensitive body could not take the emotions flooding my brain.

She pats my back, "Thank you so much..." I said through sobs, "You're welcome baby."

I wipe my tears, my makeup probably smudged, "Let's go home okay?" She smiles and I nod, my hand firmly holding hers, "Okay..." I sniffle.
