(Content; they kiss n make out but no sex)

I twiddled my thumbs, sitting down at the kitchen counter.

Gael had invited me over his house again, nothing out of the ordinary but it was a little late at night.

"So what exactly have you made?"
I ask and he looks over at me briefly, "Cinnamon rolls, blossom wants to add some to the menu, although the way she makes cinnamon rolls is absolute shite."

"Well at least in my opinion." He smirks.

I nod, "So a little sibling rivalry is going on?" He nods, "Yeah, always."

"Do you have any siblings?"

I nod, "Yeah! Actually.... I'm a twin." He turns around, his eyes wide, "Really? Identical?" I nod again, "Yes, I'm the oldest by a couple seconds."

He crosses his arms and chuckles, his white t-shirt holding on to dear life, "That's amazing I would have never guessed."

He leans onto the counter, "So what's it like?" I look down for a minute, "Well it's pretty obvious who's who now, especially since she dyed and cut her hair."

"It was a bit difficult when we were younger obviously but I love my sister dearly."

He gives me a warm smile, "I agree with you, bloom gets on my nerves but I'd do anything for her, that goes for everyone I care about honestly." I smile back, "Yeah, me too..."

I liked these moments with him, they were amazing and it was nice to see this softer side of Gael, I blush to myself.

The oven lets a little ding and he gets his patchwork themed oven mitts, taking out the cinnamon rolls.

"Alright." Gael says, "I need your mouth for a taste test." I gulp as my mind takes that sentence in a dirty way, "o-okay."

He giggles, *He knows I'm easily flustered by him! That asshole!*

He sets the piping hot roll on a plate, cutting into it with a fork, his free hand under it, "Open." He lifts the fork and I blush, opening my mouth.

"Good..." he practically whispers.

*Man I'm not gonna make it.*

I ate the small snippet and hum, "Oh that's really good!" He looks at me critically, "Too sweet? Too dry? Not enough glaze?" I could tell he was in chef mode, "Maybe it needs more glaze, but either than that it's really good!"

He nods and smiles, "Thank you for the feedback." He crosses his arms, "I'm guess you want to finish this roll off." I nod, "You know me well."

He passes me the plate and I obviously go to town on the delicious fluffy piece of heaven.

I didn't even use the fork, immediately using my hands to enjoy the experience fully.

I hear Gael chuckle, sinfully so, "I always enjoy watching you eat, your expressions are oh so genuine."

I pause to stare at him, he smirks then I blush, "I'm sorry it's just really good..."

"No need to be sorry." He walks over to me, "I appreciate the honesty."

His baby blues stares deep into my soul, analyzing my face as I try my hardest not to fall apart.

"Well you know as a food critic that is my job." I try to make mundane small talk in hopes to hide my speeding heart, "I wouldn't lie."

"Your body doesn't lie either." He smirks and I start sweating, "I can't imagine how your poker face is."

I scoff, "I'll have you know I have a killer, yes, killer poker face."
