(Info/content ramble: draft chapter (?), fluff, wouldn't you bang a god if you had the chance?)

I fell into the water, my body sinking deeper and deeper.

I lost my footing when I was sitting under the waterfall on a bolder, this happened sometimes, me falling into the water, since I come here often but today just felt different.

*And the water feels... deeper?*

Maybe it was because of everything that was going on in my life, my dad getting sick, my job laying me off, my boyfriend cheating on me.

It was like everything in the universe was against me all of a sudden.

The weight of the water sank me deeper and deeper into its depths making it harder and harder to swim to the top.

*Is this the end...? No... it can't be... there's so many things I have to do...so many things I wish to do...*

Suddenly I felt warm and tenderly placed strong arms wrap around my waist, pulling me up.

I snap back into conscious.

*What the hell? It feels like... someone's... pulling me up...? But they are so... warm?*

I gasp for air as we emerge from the water.

"Are you alright?" I hear a deep smooth voice above me, that's when I sensed a firm hand gripping my thigh and arm.

*Oh... They have me in bridal style... but who...?*

I look up and I'm met with a handsomely sculptured face, his eyes were the same shade as an orange peel; shining down brightly at me.

"Who are you? And where did you come from?" I ask, a bit stunned, "I was walking around the area and I saw you in the water." He tone was matter of factly.

"That's great but... who are you?"

He carries me to the coast, setting me down, I get a look at his form it was as if he was sculpted by Greek gods.

*Who knew someone could be so... muscular?*

"My name is Orion." He stands up straight, I saw what seemed like particles lifting off of his body his eyes brighter than the moons glow in the sky, "Like the constellation?"

I could admit I was staring him down now but he had this glow to him, like a natural pull that made me want to gawk.

He smirks at me, his eyes slightly disappearing, "Yes, are you a fan of the stars?"

"Well, yes a little bit." I say, "My dad is an astronomer." I look down, "Well... was."

Orion kneels in front of me, "What happened to him?" I look at him, his expressions was warm and soft, "He's... he's sick."

I felt a lump in my throat as I continued, "And I... I don't know what to do..."

He puts his hand on my shoulder, my skin instantly heats up by his touch, "Don't cry." He says, his thumb wiping my tears, "Your father is going to make it. I know so."

The way he spoke seemed so factual, "Everything will be okay. There's always a rainbow after a tornado after all."

I sniff, "Thank you Orion... you're sweet..."

He smiles at me and I feel my cheek warm up, *He's really handsome....*

"Oh! Uhm... my name is Keisha." I say, "Thank you for saving me... I appreciate that... I come here often but... I guess I was just distracted by my thoughts today."

He nods, "You're welcome, sometimes we can't escape our thoughts. But we shouldn't let that limit us from our goals."

I smile, "You have such a way with words." He smiles back, "Yeah."
