(Info; draft chapter! Also main character lady (the persons view we are witnessing) was not named at the time when I made this but she is now and her name is Moesha!)

Being in Ireland was starting off as a wonderful experience, with its rocky terrain and vast mountain areas it was becoming true that I was gonna enjoy these 3 full months.

But of course this trip wasn't all for leisure, I had to give my honest opinion on some restaurants in the area, something I was looking forward to and loved during.

Being able to travel far and wide, experience countries and their culture, their food, it was something I dreamed of as a kid and even more fond over as an adult.

I snap out of my thoughts, I often daydreamed I could admit.

*Okay... keep it together.*

I settled in a few days ago, in a small little town, I already made some friends with the locals as they were very kind to me on meeting.

"Oh you're gonna love this restaurant! It's the heart of the city!" Ms. Devonport, a nice older woman with a thick Irish accent, smiled at me, I was taking a walk in the town as the place I needed to go wasn't far from where I parked my car.

"Really?" I ask, "Well tell me about it."

"Well for starters it's a family business, how cute is that?"

Every food critic should know to never underestimate family owned restaurants, hell I'd argue that's where the money was at.

But of course suave fancy food critics would scoff and look down at restaurants they deemed cheap, I couldn't do that as that would make me a hypocrite, knowing my family owned such a similar restaurant back in my hometown.

Nor did I want to.

"Of course." I smile, "Everyone loves family businesses believe it or not." She smiles back brightly, her dimples on full display, "I see you have taste." We laugh.

Ms. Devonport continues, "It was owned by this nice lovely couple, unfortunately the husband died some years ago, so now it's ran by the wife and her son."

"I can't imagine how that feels, it must have been hard."

She nods, "But the son so graciously came back home to help, he was busy traveling the world as a traveling chef."

My eyes widened, "Oh? Is he famous by any chance?" She laughs, "Well I think he is, but he swears he isn't!"

I was interested, *I was gonna meet a famous chef here today?*

"His name is Gael collins." She stops walking and turns to me, "Oh and yes, he is single."

I raise my eyebrow, "Okay... that's nice to know." I laugh and she smirks.

My mind wanders off a bit, I had heard of that name before it was familiar but I couldn't put my finger on it.

*Come to think of it, I don't even think I know what he looks like!*

Ms. Devonport and I part ways as I walk into the restaurant titled The Red Oven.

"G'day!" The place was empty, it wasn't closed but I assume they were on break, a brightly smiled heavyset woman walked over to me, her dark brown hair in a messy bun and freckles spread across her face.

"You must be the food critic?" I nod, "Yep that's me." She nods, "Well I wish to welcome you to my little restaurant."

"I assume Ms. Devonport has told you a bit about me?" I nod slowly, my eyes scanning the room taking in the lovely homely atmosphere, "Well she didn't tell me everything but basically yeah."
