Me and Gerard make eye contact for a second, "So do you want to tell me about the dream that got you fired?" I laughed kind of sheepishly.

"No, not really." He smiled and looked down at the ground then his eyes glided up from my legs to my eyes, he was looking me up and down. Probably having some suspicious thoughts, but to be fair its me, I would too.

"Frank, you're sad. I can tell." Hes reading right through me, I'm an open book to him. I can feel the tears form in my eyes and he goes in for a hug again. "You can tell me if you want."

I think for a moment and then latch onto him a little bit tighter, I don't know if I want to talk about it. But again for some odd reason I feel the need to trust him. Besides I'll die soon anyways. "I'm gay." My voice cracked but atleast I had gotten it out.

"Well thats interesting." I pulled away and his expression hadn't changed. "I had kind of assumed. You know, because we were about to kiss." I laughed kind of embarrassed. "And you leaned in. So yeah you're kinda gay." My face heated up because I am so stupid.

"Sorry, I didn't really think about it." He laughed as if he was teasing me. So he didn't really want to kiss me and I was just being stupid and hopeful for nothing.

I mean at least he hasn't tried to beat the shit out of me for my gayness yet. "Frank, I do think you might be a bit slow." I'm thoroughly confused now, why in the world would he say that? I thought he saw my expression and decided to elaborate on what he had said. "I'm gay too." Suddenly it clicked. Yeah that does make a lot more sense doesn't it. We both kind of just stared at each other until I decided to break the silence.

"Uhm, do you want coffee?" I think I stuttered over my words a bit, but got it out nonetheless.

"Sure, thank you. I'd love a cup of coffee." I smile a I walk into my kitchen that to be fair needs to be cleaned. I should clean it but I probably won't, but what else do I have to do. I don't have a job and I dont have any other source of income, I'll worry about it later, its fine for now.

"Do you want sugar or milk or anything?" I turn around and say as I see him inspecting my dirty counters.

"Oh, no thanks." He stops talking for a second. "Frank, when was the last time you cleaned this place?"

I laugh embarrassed, "Im not really sure, I haven't really had time recently." I grab the cups from the cabinet above me that I'm almost to short to reach. The red mugs I almost never use heating up as I fill them with the hot coffee straight from the pot.

I pick up both cups and walk back over to Gerard and hand him one, "Here you go." I smile and sit at the barstool level with my counter.

"Wow, this is really good." He says eyes sparkling.

"Made with love." I say smiling, I do take pride in my coffee skills, its one of my favorite drinks so I love to make it and take pride in doing so.

"Does that mean you love me?" He asked in his usual sassy tone. I smirked and thought about it for a second.

"Hm, no, I don't think so." I laughed and his face got serious.

"Were going to have to change that." He smiled and his fangs showed through just every so slightly. For some reason I've never been afraid of vampires, and I'm still not. If anything they fascinate me quite a bit.

"And how are you going to do that, Gerard?" I ask my tone almost condescending as if its impossible for me to love him.

"Well, Its only a matter of time, I mean you're already dreaming about me." I laughed and we made eye contact for a solid minute, "You were dreaming about me weren't you?" He said so as if he was questioning whether or not I had. Of course he already knew the answer and I'm not sure why he was asking again.

"Yes, I did. But alas you'll never know what it was about." I rolled my eyes jokingly not trying to be so suspicious.

He gets out of his chair and decided to walk over to me and put his hand on my face and his head in the crook of my neck, even though he was a vampire I felt okay with him being there. "You won't tell me, even if I beg." His hot breath on my neck driving me crazy.

"Nope." I stutter as I laugh again. He pulls his face up and he looks into my eyes, his hazel eyes glistening In my fluorescent lighting. I've learned before don't lean in, don't make a fool of yourself. But what if he really is trying to kiss me.

He leans in and says, "I want to show you something." he silently laughs as he quickly pulls away and walks into my living room. I follow in pursuit, I'm almost kind of sad he didn't kiss me, but thats not what we need to worry about right now.

What the hell does he want to show me? "I can turn into a bat." I laugh because I think that he's joking. He is joking right? I blink and there he is, a bat.

"Gerard, what the fuck?" I almost half scream, and half laugh at the same time. "That is hilariously cool."

He turns back into human form, "Oh my god, that is so rad." I'm way too excited for this, that was so hilariously cool.

He smiled like a kid showing his parents a terrible drawing he made. "Really? You thought it was cool?" I laughed and nodded.

"Did you know I'm something of a musician?" If he can show me his talents I get to show him mine. "I play guitar." I smile proudly. "C'mon I'll show you." I grab his hand and lead him into my bedroom where I keep my guitars and amp.

"Wow, your room is almost as dirty as the rest of the house." I giggled and picked up my acoustic guitar because I don't want to wake up everyone in the building. I play just a few chords for him and he claps. "What a concert!" he exclaims proudly.

"I've never shared my music with anyone, so consider yourself lucky." I place the guitar back down onto the stand.
