~My P.O.V~
I don't know how long I was out for but when I slowly began to regain consciousness, I could immediately tell my surroundings were different. I could hear what sounded like a heart monitor beside me and I was laying on a softer surface, definitely not cement. I could feel something tied around my wrists, probably restraints... I definitely didn't have my wolf ears or tail... I still had the metallic taste in my mouth... It was blood...
I couldn't remember exactly what happened but it was slowly coming back... I remember the ears and tail and eating the man's heart... I remembered people screaming when they looked at me...
I slowly opened my eyes as much as I could... I could barely make out anything or anyone through my blurred vision... My head was throbbing with pain...
"Kira..? Kira can you hear me...?"
Whoever it was was seemed far away and their voice was distorted... I felt like I couldn't move, I felt like I couldn't speak... I tried but it just came out a small groan... I had almost no energy...
They carefully moved my head before gently opening my eyelids and shining a bright light into my eyes. I squinted and they removed the light.
"Her pupils are reacting to the light well." I heard the voice again
My vision slowly began to clear, Dr Smiley was standing over me.
"Kira, can you hear me?" He asked again
I could see Nurse Ann standing next to him.
"S-Smiley... W..Where's... Jack...?"
"He hasn't left your side."
I could hear the smile in his voice as I felt someone gently squeeze my hand and then kiss my forehead, carefully brushing some of my hair out my eyes.
"Hey babe, how are you feeling?"
I smiled a little to myself... It was Jack...
"Exhausted... Dizzy... A little sore..."
"Do you remember what happened?" Smiley asked
"Bits... And pieces... I... Killed someone... And... Sebastian..."
Smiley and Jack both looked at each other with confused looks.
"...who's Sebastian Hun?" Jack asked
"The wolf..."
"He's waiting outside... It took us a bit to explain to him we were going to help you... He seems very attached to you." Smiley said
"What about... The wolf tooth..?" I asked
Nurse Ann held up a jar with it in it and I smiled.
"Thank you... For saving it for me..."
"We knew it had to be something important when it fell from your hand and you lost the ears and tail." Nurse Ann commented
I smiled but my heart began to sink... I had to know...
"Did I.. Hurt anyone here...?"
"No you didn't, not seriously anyway." Smiley said
"What... What do you mean... 'Not seriously?'"
"There were only a few bumps here and there, no one's needed stitches." Nurse Ann reassured me
"And... And Rose...?"
"She's alright babe." Jack reassured me
I sighed in relief.
"Would you like to sit up?" Smiley asked
