It had nearly been two weeks after Rose's training session, twelve days if you want me to be exact. Rose and Lord Zalgo have trained twice since then and she absolutely loves training.
After the turn of events with the CPH, I had Sebastian to sleep in Rose's bedroom at night and Jeff was ok with Smile sleeping in Sally's room. I figured he would be, we're all family here no matter what.
Speaking of the CPH, today's the day for yet another CPH war. I had a vision of where and when the battle will take place three days ago and ever since, I haven't been able to get it off my mind.
I've been having different scenes from previous CPH wars pop up in my nightmares which is the last thing I need at the moment.
It was the morning of the war and I sat up in an instant, beads of sweat on my forehead from a nightmare as I tried to regain my bearings and catch my breath.
Jack sat up quickly, wrapping an arm around me.
"Hey, it's ok... It's just a nightmare... It can't hurt you..." He reassured me, moving his mask and kissing my cheek
I relaxed slightly, taking a deep breath and closing my eyes. Somedays I feel sorry for Jack... He shouldn't have to deal with me waking him up because of my nightmares... I don't know how he does it every day without complaining at all.
"Thank you Jack.. I'm sorry for waking you up.." I apologised as I rested my head on him
He kissed my forehead, rubbing arm. "Don't be, it's time to get up anyway."
I sighed. "Today's the day..."
"Yeah... It is..." He held one of my hands in his. "Everything will be ok, I promise you it will."
I smiled a little, gently squeezing his hand. "No jumping in front of bullets for me."
"No guarantees babe." He chuckled.
I laughed a little and sat up straighter, kissing him before I stood up.
"I'm going to take a quick shower."
"Alright babe." he smiled, returning the kiss.
I stretched and walked into the bathroom. I stripped out of my pyjamas and turned on the water. Once it was at a nice warm temperature, I got in, washing my face first in an attempt to wake myself up and get rid of the faint reminder of the nightmare that just abruptly woke me up.
I washed my hair and then stayed under the shower for another minute or so before I reluctantly turned off to water and climbed out.
I dried myself off before I wrapped a towel around my body and walked back out to Jack. I picked out my outfit that I would always wear during the CPH wars and got changed.
I then felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist and then Jack kiss my cheek.
"You ok hun?"
I smiled a little and nodded. "Yeah... I just can't stop thinking about the CPH."
"I know what you mean." He said as he rested his head on my shoulder. "But we will all be ok, I promise."
"I know, we always are." I smiled a little more, kissing his cheek
"Come on, let's go get something to eat before the battle."
"Alright." I giggled before walking with him downstairs to the kitchen
Once we got to the kitchen, we saw Hoodie, Masky, Toby, Jeff, Lost Silver, BEN and Slenderman there, ready for the battle. Rose and Sally were sitting with Splendorman as everyone ate their breakfast. I guess everyone was thinking about today, that's all that has really been on everyone's mind recently.
