It had almost been a week since Jack was shot in the latest CPH war. Jack was let out of hospital two days after the war and I made sure to put him on bed rest for another two days. Everything was back to normal, Jane was still being unbearably jealous but other than that, everyone was getting along well.
I was training in the training room, just running on the treadmill.
"Good morning Kira." I heard Lord Zalgo say from behind me
I smiled and stopped the treadmill before turning to look at him. He had his hands behind his back.
"Good morning sir."
"How are you this morning?"
"I'm very good sir, yourself?"
"I'm very good indeed, I'm sorry to disturb you but I was wondering if you had any plans today."
I shook my head. "No sir, I don't."
"Excellent, how would you like to go on a mission?"
I laughed a little. "Sir, we both know mission is my middle name."
He chuckled and handed me a box. "How good of a climber are you?"
I thought back to the last mission I had with Jason... The rope... Sandy and Gary falling to the floor... Their skills splitting on the pavement... I shuddered lightly at the thought.
"When I was seven I climbed one of the tallest skyscrapers in the city, sir."
"Very good, this skill will come in handy."
(A/N: The first outfit is the one on the left and the second is the one on the right XD I think I probably failed at the description)
I gave him a weird look as I opened the box and saw a few daggers with black, silver and blue patterned hilts, a black blindfold and two different outfits. I put the box on the floor and pulled out the first outfit so I could get a better look at it.
Holding it in front of me, I saw a black and light blue outfit. It had long sleeves, black on the right and mainly cream on the left. It stopped down at my thighs, it was basically like a bathing suit. Over the right side of the outfit up to the left shoulder was a white and blue design over the black, a few red dots on left shoulder.
After looking over my first outfit, I picked up the second was a halter neck styled out it that once again stopped at my thighs. It was a white and blue outfit with a scale effect. The only problem I had with this outfit was some of the scars on my back would be visible... What on Earth was I going to do? One thing at a time Kira, figure out your mission then the scars.
"Sir.... I'm sorry but I'm confused... What exactly am I doing?"
"Ever been to the circus Kira?"
I shook my head. "No sir, never."
"Well that's about to change. Tell me, what do you know about a circus?"
"I know that there are sometimes animals involved and magic tricks, clowns, acrobats and different performances."
"That's the basics of a circus." He smiled. "First I'd like you to perform something known as ribbon acrobatics. Then I'd like you to pick someone from the crowd and tie them to a spinny board. You'll spin the board and throw knives at them, making sure not too kill them until the last second, after that, the crowd and staff are yours to kill. While you're doing your final performance, all the doors will be locked or barricaded."
Uhhhhhh... What the hell were ribbon acrobatics?
"Ribbon acrobatics, sir...?"
"Yes, it's a performance where someone climbs up ribbons attached to the ceiling and does tricks on them."
