Truth or Spin [Mei]

THIS TAKES PLACE BEFORE THE EVENTS OF THE SHOW, WHEN MK AND MEI ARE STILL IN HIGHSCHOOL

Plot: You, Mei, and MK go to a house party thrown by a popular Senior and something crazy happens during Truth or Spin~ [fluff I think?]

[CW: There's alcohol, underage drinking in here and mentions of underage sex]

[Also reader is implied to be a female, but it isn't specified until a certain scene]

You sat in your bed, listening to music and scrolling through your friends socials.

You hated being trapped here, but your parents were super strict about your curfew (and who you could and couldn't hang out with). They were especially strict about MK and Mei, saying they were both bad influences. Bad influences? More like AMAZING INFLUENCES.

The way MK always makes a party out of everything, making even the most serious of situations into a laughing stock. He always makes you laugh, at anything, see a roach? He'll start screaming like a little girl, shaking you and yelling at you to kill it. Same thing with spiders, but a much more panicked reaction.

Mei always managed to be a bubbly and kind girl, but she won't hesitate to fuck someone up if they need it. She doesn't care about gender norms! You'll see her wearing a suit one day then a dress the next, she's the reason you're embracing your masculine AND feminine side without fear of judgement from your parents. You didn't know what it was but something about that girl just got your heart in a twist sometimes.

You heard steps coming through the hall, you were supposed to be asleep right now- but no- you were fully dressed, pretending you were asleep. You paused your music and quickly dove under the covers. 

You heard your door creak open, you kept your eyes sealed shut, fighting the urge to see who had opened the door. You heard a feminine voice and masculine voice muttering softly- probably your parents. After a hot second of hearing them bicker, they closed the door. Finally, damn.

Right on time, you heard 2 light taps on your window. You slowly got up, careful not to wake the others. You quietly slid open the window, met with Mei's contagious smile. "Took ya long enough, you're lucky my family went to sleep" You whispered harshly. "Oh quiet, now come on! We can't leave the party people waiting!" She grabbed your wrists, hoisting you out the window and out onto the sturdy tree branch that held you two up. You gave her a brief hug as a greeting even though you saw her earlier at the park.

"Where's MK?" You asked, "At the bottom, now c'mon!" She lead you down the tree, careful not to make too much noise. Eventually, the two of you touched the grass, greeted with MK's toothy grin. "Hey, Y/N!" He spoke lowly. 

You greeted him back with a fist-bump. "Alright guys, remember: I have to be back before 4am because my parents get up at 5 for work, and I cannot under no circumstance drink anything that anyone offers me" You told the two. They both puffed up their chest and saluted, "Yes sir, sergeant!" MK and Mei said in unison. You stifled a laugh at this.

"Alright let's go! Taylor's party is gonna start soon!"

You arrived to a house not too far from your neighborhood, the three of you could see vibrant lights being flashed from 5 houses down. As you walked up to the front lawn, you saw people already drinking hardcore booze from red solo cups- all of those people appearing to be teenagers. "There's freshmen here...right?" MK questioned nervously. 

"Yeah, luckily we're gonna make smart decisions and stay AWAY from alcohol, right you two?" You threw your arms over MK and Mei's shoulders. "Yeah!" They said in unison with enthusiasm. "Great! Now let's go!"
