Kiss From Death [Monkey King]

Plot: You're the death deity and have to pay a certain simian a visit which turns from business to personal quick <3 [fluff]

You overlooked the dark land of unaware souls, sitting atop a throne made of stone, gold, dried blood, and the bones of your enemies (literally, the bones of your enemies, you have- correction HAD a ton of enemies, now you just got a few-)

You had a whole hit list of who you wanted dead- after all you were the deity of death, it's literally your job to kill. You were feared amongst the gods, seen as a being who could very well eradicate the world as we knew it with your undead army of millions. After all, you had every damned soul at your beck and whim.

But you made a promise to yourself to only kill those who are guilty of crimes against the great gods and goddess' above, or people you held a grudge against- either way, you don't go on killing sprees purely for the thrill (it is partially the reason though).

But today was one of those days, a day that you were too ticked off to just stay silent- you looked through your list of criminals guilty of secret crimes- and people you were enemies with. Your eyes landed on a name on the criminal list, a name all too familiar which made you smirk as you read it.

"Wukong? Gosh, what a trouble maker" You snickered, exposing your sharp canines. You decided to pay an old friend a visit- throwing your lists aside and telling the guards where you were going. They had no real business knowing where you were going- they were below you- but should an emergency arise in the underworld, they would know where to find you.

You grabbed your spear, it's sharp silver edge glistening in the little light this world had provided. You were quite sensitive to strong rays of light from staying down here for so long and adapting to the dim light, so that's why you preferred slaying your enemies and criminals at night.

You opened a portal before you, stepping through. You entered the mortal realm, it was silent in this part of the world- the humans must be asleep. You closed the portal, your orbs glowing a vibrant violet as you tried pinpointing where the Monkey King was. As you focused your hunting energy on finding him, you felt a presence behind you.

You snapped out of your navigation and whipped around, pointing your spear outwards. "Y/N L/N, long time no see~" You recognized his voice. "Been too long, loverboy" You deadpanned, taking your spear out of its stance and on the ground next to you. "You still bounty hunting? Tch, too bad they don't pay you. You would've been the most feared AND richest deity among the gods" He chuckled, taking a step forward.

"Very funny, Sun Wukong. It's not bounty hunting, and you know that, it's called bringing sinners to justice, and it so happens you're a sinner" Your tone darkened, you had some questions that needed answering. "So, mind telling me why you're one of the top 20 most wanted souls by the gods? You must be hiding some shady stuff, monkey" You flicked his nose, earning a curious twitch from it.

"Only top 20? Damn, guess I better up my game" He cooed, chuckling afterwards. You groaned, grabbing your spear and rushing it forward towards the golden furred simian. You stopped inches away from his chest, "You better take this seriously, Wukong. You are wanted by beings higher than you, me being one of them- so I won't ask again; why are you on the top 20 most wanted souls by that gods?" You reiterated with a stern face, not taking any of his bullshit anymore.

Monkey King pursed his lips, swallowing his pride. "I don't have all day, simian" You poked him with your spear, "Okay! So I may or may not have stolen a few...items from the nature goddess" He chuckled nervously, sweat beginning to form on his temples. "Stealing from the nature deity? She doesn't have much to take, but the items she does have are beyond valuable!" You were overcome by a wave of shock.
