My thoughts on s5

FIRST THINGS FIRST

Heyyyy guys how we feeling after the emotional rollercoaster we as a fandom experienced after that season? 😭😭

There will be some spoilers soooo just fyi

First, my thoughts on the season itself.

Overall, a 7/10, that's not counting the animation btw

I was so sad abt the studio switch because like Flying Bark Productions is actually my idol, but for such a sudden switch, Wildbrain came in CLUTCHHH

The animation is still pretty decent

The writing just felt a lil off, but they were on a deadline so I'm not gonna hold it against them entirely

But the dialogue for the characters in ep 1-3 made me.... kinda cringe... I had to step back literally when Wukong said, "This guy thinks he's the main character"

LIKE UGHH IM SORRY THAT MADE ME CRINGE SOO HARD

But the final episodes had me SOBBING

MK WANTING TO SACRIFICE HIMSELF SO BAD TO SAVE THE WORLD AND WUKONG, THE GUY WHO DID EVERYTHING TO AVOID DEATH, WAS MORE THAN WILLING TO SACRIFICE HIMSELF INSTEAD OF MK WITHOUT A SECOND THOUGHT

I WAS CRYING SO HARDDD BROOO

AND SEAN SCHEMMEL DID NOT HAVE TO GO SO HARD FOR WUKONG'S LINES

And when Wukong was willing to hold Macaque's hand in death like,,,,, your honor,,,,, their story is so sad, but in the end, they were willing to die together,,,,

Anyways I would yap on and on about this season but uhhhh not gonna cuz I dont wanna bore y'all

S5 felt all over the place, but they literally just switched studios all of a sudden, so I'm not gonna hold that against Wildbrain... for now...

Anyways, I liked it, but out of all the seasons? This is the worst in terms of writing and stuff, but I still enjoyed it.

ANYWAYS GONNA BE WRITING FOR NEW CHARACTERS!!!
