"Wake up Em." Someone was shaking me awake for the second time that day. I squinted at the person who hovered above me.

"How'd you get-"

"Bridgitt." Cassidy said running a hand through her blond hair.

"Oh. Why am I on the couch?" I asked looking around my living room. She shrugged. I sat up, all the memories from last night flooded through my mind.

"Why did you leave me with Lo-"

"Shh." She said in a hushed tone, then pointing to the kitchen where I assume Bridgitt and my dad were. She pointed to the stairs then beckoned me to follow.

"Why would you do that?" I asked when we reached my room.

"I had too, he said he would tell you. I didn't want to bother you, you were curled against Louis and-"

"Wait- Curled against him?" I cut her off.

"Yep. I left at ten, my parents texted me. He said he would take care of you. I was skeptical about it but he said not to worry. You seem pretty safe, he didn't do anything to you, right?" She asked looking over my body. Nope, not like forced me to go out on a date, go through my room, or tell me he wasn't leaving.

"No. But um I might have a date with him.."

"Might?" Her eyes widened.

"Okay, well I do have a date with him."

"When?"

"That's a good question." I trailed off.

"You don't know?" I bit my lip, shaking my head.

"Call him then." I searched my pocket, then made my way to my bed pulling back the covers, nothing.

"I can't find it." I dropped to my knees, looking under my bed.

"Where'd you leave it last?" I retraced the steps in my head.

"Louis has it."

"Why would he have it?" She looked at me skeptically.

"He was in my room and he picked it up for me, must've put it in his pocket by accident." I said trying to reason it out with myself. She sighed pulling out her phone, scrolling through the contacts I suppose then putting it to her ear.

"Louis? Hi it's Cassidy, Em kinda needs her phone back. Uh huh. Oh yeah, I know where that's at. Only her? Um. Okay." She hung up.

"What'd he say?"

"He gave me directions to his house I guess but he said only your allowed to go inside." She said the last part quietly.

"Okay I guess. Let me get dressed."

"Since you're the only one allowed do you mind if I just drop you off so I can go see Niall?"

"Is Niall that boy you keep texting?" I asked opening my closet.

"Yeah. He's so cute. And sweet. And caring. And-" I tuned her out as I glanced through my closet. I finally settled on a pair of faded blue jeans and a gray shirt with a black jacket.

"And he has these beautiful eyes." She was saying when I turned around.

"You must really like him," I said.

"Yeah. I can't wait till you meet him!" I nodded before walking across to the bathroom to brush my teeth and get dressed.

--

"Here we are." Cassidy said pulling up to a drive way. I peered through the wind shield. It was a small flat.

"Thanks." I hopped out of the car, waving at her as she sped off. I didn't know how long I was going to be staying here but I doubt he would just let me leave right away. I walked up the steps, I hesitated before knocking. The door swung right open, Louis standing there in a white shirt, blue jeans that were cuffed off at the bottom and blue toms.

"Here you go." He handed me my phone, then stepped aside to let me in. I walked in, slipping my phone in my back pocket.

"Where's your family?" I asked, looking around.

"I really don't know." He shut the door, leaning against it.

"What do you mean?"

"Exactly that. I moved out during the summer, they didn't approve of what I did." He rolled his eyes. "My friend helped me out by getting this place and everything."

"What did you do?" He smirked at me, pushing off the door walking towards me.

"I don't really think you need to know that right now," He stood in front of me now, his hands un buttoned the front of my jacket. He looked at me, waiting for me to object. When I didn't say anything he pushed it back, then tugged at my cuffs. He glanced over my body before looking into my eyes.

"Thought you should be comfortable." He said turning around and walking to the dining room, laying it on the back of one of the chairs.

"Are you hungry?" He asked me.

"No."

"You're a horrible liar, come on I'll make you something."

"No really, Louis I'm fine." I answered honestly. He looked at me for awhile before nodding.

"Fine." He disappeared into the kitchen. I took this chance to wander around. I went to the pictures he had on the mantle above the fireplace. In one he had his arm around a girl who was wearing a hot pink bathing suit. His hair was shorter. The next one he was wearing a beanie and had glasses, he was pointing to something that wasn't visible in the picture.

I wandered down the hall, I noted there was two rooms, one on the left and one on the right parallel to each other. I twisted the knob on the one to the right of me, it was locked.

"What are you doing?" Louis said harshly, I jumped moving my hand away.

"Looking for the bathroom." I said the first thing that came to my mind. He looked at me doubtfully.

"It's in my room." He pointed to the door on the left of me.

"Thank you." I muttered walking into his room. A big bed sat in the middle of the room, two black night stands next to it. I walked into the bathroom, pulling my phone out. I don't know why but the firs thing I did was check my contacts.

"What the hell?" I muttered to myself noticing that majority of all my contacts were gone. Especially the guys numbers I had. Not like I had much guy friends, anyways. I sunk against the door. Jumping slightly at the knock.

"You okay Em?" Louis called.

"I'm fine." I squeaked. I'm staring to think he took my phone on purpose.
