Chapter Twenty Four

I watched Louis walk across the parking lot and get in his car. He pulled out and drove away without a glance back. I crossed my arms over my chest, waiting for dad so he can explain.

A few minutes later he arrived, Ice cream in hand.

"What did you say to him?" I asked when he started the car.

"Told him he had one more chance before I pull you two apart for good. Same goes to you." I nodded.

"But don't think you're not grounded."

"What?"

"Yep. You're grounded until Monday. I would ground you over spring break but I'll be gone so what's the point? You'll leave anyways." He started to pull out.

"Where are you going?"

"Bridgit and I have plans for the week. So you're home alone. No boys. No Louis. Only Audrey," he paused, "Give me your phone."

"What? No!" I said holding onto my phone for dear life.

"Now." He put his hand out.

"I have plans with Cassidy tomorrow!"

"Maybe you should've thought of that before you ditched school. Hand over the phone." With a sigh, I reluctantly handed it over.

"I'll miss you." I said to the phone when he out it in his pocket.

"Oh geez," he rolled his eyes, "You'll get it Monday." I turned towards the window, looking out of it. Cassidy's going to hate me, I thought letting out a sigh.

"Oh c'mon. It wont be that bad. It's only few days. We can work in the yard. It'll be fun." Fun? More like torture.

I didn't want her to be grounded very long because it would've just ruined everything I had planned.

But I wish I had a dad like Emma. If I skipped school I would be dead. Grounded till I was 50. Not just a weekend. And the boy? Never be able to see him again.

Sorry I haven't been updating for awhile. Pretty busy with school at the moment. With color guard try outs, then the book con yesterday. Then state testing coming up this week so I'll try to update by Thursday.

But till then stay awesome.
