Chapter Twenty One(Part One)

I slipped my pencil into my book bag and stood. Lunch time. Half the day was over, which meant I was half way too spring break.

So close, but yet so far away.

Louis was talking to some other kid about the football match. Or something that bored me. Cassidy was standing at her locker, a note in her hand wearing a shocked expression.

"What's wrong?" I asked coming up behind her. She looked at me, startled. She crumpled the note and slammed her locker shut.

"What did Aaron look like?" She asked. I thought back to him.

"I dont honestly remember. Green eyes I think. Why?"

"Meet me tomorrow at the mall?" She asked.

"Sure. Are you okay?"

"I don't know." She said quietly. "I'll see you later." She walked off without another glance back. The hall was clearing. I wouldn't be able to see her till tomorrow, she had second lunch.

"What was that all about?" Louis asked a moment later.

"I honestly don't know." I said unlocking my locker which was the next one over from Cassidy's. "You're going to be late." I said grabbing a book so I wouldn't have to do it after lunch.

"Funny. I don't care." He said with a smile. I hated how the lunch schedule was here, he also had second lunch.

"Doesn't surprise me." I said with a laugh, starting to shut my locker. He placed his hand on it, stopping it.

"I have a better idea though."

"What?"

"Let's ditch." I laughed but stopped when I saw he wasn't joking.

"No," I said shaking my head.

"Why not?"

"Seriously? 'Why not?' Well I don't know maybe because we'd get caught or that it's breaking rules."

"You're such a goodie good. It's adorable." He grabbed my hand, pulling me closer to him. The bell had already rung, a few kids in the hallway.

"You're late to class." I said.

"Think of it as an early vacation. And technically you're not ditching, I am. You can leave during lunch." I thought it over.

"But I'm skipping the rest of the day." He sighed.

"Fine. Guess I'll see you after school." He pulled away from me and started to walk towards his class.

"Wait-" He stopped, but didn't turn. I turned and put the book back and shut the locker. "I'll do it."

I'm horrible. I lied. I said I wouldn't post till tomorrow.
