Chapter Twenty Seven

Louis drummed his fingers against the steering wheel at the red light.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"Never been better," he flashed a smile at me. "Really im fine babe." he said reaching over and squeezing my thigh. A car honked behind us.

"Oops," he said laughing driving forward. I shook my head laughing and turned to look out the window. I watched the the buildings we passed by turn into a blur. His phone started to vibrate. He glanced down at it, he made a move to grab it.

"You promised," I said reaching down and grabbing it. I unlocked it.

"I'll read it to you, what's your password?"

"Ignore it. I bet it's nothing." I shrugged and sat it back down. He pulled into a gas station. I reached for my wallet.

"I'm going to go get something to drink, do you need anything?" I asked opening my door. He shook his head and got out. I made my way over to the store and over to where the drinks were. After a moment, i finally decided on a coke. 

"Thank you," I said taking my drink and change when i paid. I uncapped my drink as i walked outside. Louis was leaning against the car door watching the cars that went by. 

"Hey," I said coming up behind him and wrapping my arms around his waist.

"Hey," he replied turning around and leaning down to kiss my forehead. I leaned into him.

"What are we going to do this week?" I asked.

"Well I think I owe you a dinner." 

"Are you ever going to tell me what happened?" I asked.

"I will, but later." he said quietly. I nodded and stepped ot of the embrace. I got into the car and put my wallet up. I buckled and looked over at where his phone was. It had the dull light on.

I tapped on the screen. Messages popped up. I tilted my head to the side to read them.

From: Hazel

7:30, don't  forget♥

I blinked a few times then re read it. I looked up at Louis who was turning around to open the door. I quickly locked it and sat up.

He slid in and started the car and pulled out of the parking lot. 

"So who's Hazel?"

I atually know where I'm going with this story now. So yay!
