You begin to wake up and you open your eyes after what had just happened. You sit yourself up and you say, "Oh man. What was that all about? Something just dragged me in and brought me into..." You look around and you say, "The attic? I knew it."
You hear noises that didn't seem very human like to you and you gasp. You look around and you say, "Hello?! Once-Ler?!" You suddenly hear a deep voice behind you saying this, "Well, look who decided to drop by for a visit.~" You look behind you and your eyes widen.
There he is. The Once-Ler. He's in the green suit, but no hat on. He's got the soft raven hair, light gray skin since he's been dead for a hundred years, black eyes with white pupils, etc. He grins and bares those razor-sharp teeth. You say, "Holy shit, man." You get up and you slowly back away saying, "You are real."
He approaches you and he says, "Now now. No need to back away from me." You say, "Legend says it. My grandma told me stories about you. Killing anyone that came in here at night." He chuckles and says, "Is that so?" You say, "Yes."
He smirks and he suddenly darts at you. He grabs you by the arms and you gasp. He flies to the wall and he pins you against it. He's got your arms pinned up against the wall as he looks at you. You say, "Mm. Damn, man." He leans in and he says, "Well... They're not lying."
You say, "Well, shit. I'm done for." He says, "Actually... I don't plan on killing you. I have something else in mind for YOU. Just you.~" You look at him. He says, "So, the old gypsy broad told you stories about me, huh? I guess you know what I did, huh?"
You say, "Yeah. You apparently made Lady Katherine marry you. You held her against her will. Not cool, man." He says, "It was a woman's duty and I needed a wife to give in to me." You say, "And this is the year 1974. Not 1874. It's been like, a hundred years, man. Get with the fucking program."
He growls and he says, "Silence, dame!" You look at him, not flinching a bit. He squeezes your arms a bit tighter and you gasp. He says, "You don't have any say in the matter. Your old man may own that carnival... but this is MY house. Always was and always will be."
You hiss and you say, "Y-you can't squeeze any tighter than that?" He looks at you in shock. He says, "Wait... what?" You look at him and you say, "At least dig your claws into my skin and puncture it. You have them, don't you?" He moves away and he says, "You... enjoy that?" You say, "What? Were women back in the day not like this?"
He says, "I have never come face to face with such a woman. What are you?" You look at him and you say, "A masochist? I don't know. All I know man... is that being called names or being bossed around never bothered me. Pain's not an issue, either. I kind of like it, actually. At least I feel something."
He says, "You're one scary girl..." He grins and he says, "Perfect." You raise a brow. He moves away and he says, "You're worth sparing from death, for sure. Everyone else however..." You say, "Leave my dad, grandma and Wendy out of it, man. They didn't do anything to you." He sighs and says, "Shit. Alright, fine. I'll spare them for your sake." You smirk and you say, "Good." He says, "I felt something may have been different about you... (Y/N)."
You say, "How did you know my name? I never even told you it, man." He says, "I've overheard all the... talking. Conversations. Your old man and your dear old hag gypsy of a grandma." You say, "Hey, man. Not cool. Don't talk about my grandma that way."
He sighs and says, "Fine... I'm sorry." He's got that expression of an annoyed, grumpy child. You smirk. For a monster, you got through to him and made him seem... less monstrous. You realize he's probably just either bipolar or just dramatic... with some hostile nature added to it. But some guys in general were like that.
He says, "Hey, come on. Quit smirking like you own this goddamn place. Remember who originally did." You say, "Yeah yeah. I know. But I still kind of own the carnival since my dad does. And he made your house into a haunted attraction. We're all aware of you, dude. Fully fucking aware." He says, "Shouldn't cuss, little lady." You say, "Oh yeah? Well, here's a little something." You flip him off.
He says, "Hey. I'll cut that pretty damn finger off. Don't think I will not." You say, "You're not gonna do shit, man. Not to... me." You look at him. He blushes and he looks away saying, "Y-you cursed dame." You smirk.
He looks at you and says, "You're really pushing it, aren't you?" You say, "Maybe." He sighs and he says, "At least I've found the first living being who has enough guts to tolerate a monstrous being like myself."
You say, "Come on, man. You were once a human, yourself. And nice before you got rich. All you wanted was your mom's love, man." His eyes widen and he looks at you. You say, "What? Am I wrong?"
He sighs and looks away. He turns his back on you and he says, "Damn you for having a gypsy for a grandmother... Feeling unloved was all I have felt until I got rich. My mother had expected so much from me. Her youngest son."
You say, "Hey, man. It's cool you're opening up to me. That's a step to realizing... that you're not so evil." He looks at you and he says, "Tell no one that." You say, "Hey. It's cool. I won't ruin your image as the monstrous Once-Ler. Think about it. People that come in here expect the disturbing history behind this mansion turned attraction, anyways. Keep it that way for the time being."
He grins and he says, "You're so goddamn lucky I met you. Want me to stop killing anyone else that comes in here during the night like you just did?" You say, "Evening, dude." He says, "Yeah. But by this time, you would've been dead by now." You look outside and it's dark. You say, "Huh. Would you look at that?"
You look at him. He says, "Get out of here as soon as possible, so nobody suspects that you came in here. Curiosity killed the cat. Literally for everyone else. But because of you... I'll refrain from mercilessly killing others. I'm sure your grandmother will catch on to that with her being a psychic. And a gypsy. Normally, someone like her would've been burned at the stake for what she is during my time."
You say, "Not anymore, man. Like I said... It's the year 1974. Anything before the year you died... Those days are over. This is the modern world now, man. Killing's not worth it. You need to do something other than that. Get out during the night. Just don't let anyone see you. They're still judgmental about monsters or zombies or vampires. Just saying, man."
He grins and says, "I'm glad I've met the most beautiful thing in the world since the day I died. Perhaps even more so than Lady Katherine. My wife..." He looks away and he growls and says, "The one who had an affair with my elder brother, Brett."
You say, "No offense, man... but you did push her around and she couldn't take it anymore. She needed to feel love. Not fear or torture from her own husband. Love is love, man. You kind of deserved being cheated on. Just saying." He looks at you. You say, "I may be back. Scratch that... I WILL be back." He smirks.
You turn around and you walk out of there, heading downstairs and out of the attraction. He watched you from behind the whole time until you went downstairs. He sighs and he says, "So beautiful. And has the guts to stand up to a monstrous being like myself. And... a masochist. She's perfect. I'm in love.~" He grins.
