You and Wendy head downstairs and you yell, "Once-Ler! Come on! Don't take it like that, man!" You look towards the hallway on the left and you see the Once-Ler heading into a room on the right. You run over and you yell, "Once-Ler!" Wendy walks over.

You get to the door and you knock and say, "Hey, man. Come on. I'm sorry about that, alright?" You hear him yelling, "Go away!" You say, "Come on. Let's talk." You grip the doorknob and you twist it, but it's locked from inside. You sigh. Wendy says, "He lock your ass out?" You say, "Yeah." She says, "Ch. Figures. Men in general be acting like that. Overgrown children."

She gets something out of her pocket and she says, "You talk to him, girl. I'm smoking a joint." She walks off and yells, "Meet me downstairs when you're through, girl!" You yell, "Okay! Save some of that joint for me!"

You face the door and you say, "Once-Ler, please? Come on, man. Let me in... Please?" You hear him sighing and he says, "Fine." The door is heard being unlocked and you open it. You push it open and you head into the room.

You see the Once-Ler sitting on a small vanity stool. You approach him and you say, "Hey." He looks over at you. You get to him and you sit in front of him. You look up at him and you say, "Hey, man. We never meant anything bad." He sighs and says, "That's not the point." He looks away.

You say, "Look. I know everything that happened in your past. I do have a gypsy for a grandmother and she sees the past. She sees a lot of shit, man. Hey... Just talk to me, okay? You can tell me what's on your mind." He looks over and looks down at you. You look at him and you blink a bit. He whispers, "God, you're pretty.~" You blush and you look away, smiling. You look up at him.

He sighs and he says, "I never wanted to be this murderous monster to begin with. Let alone a tyrant while I was alive and owning my mansion and company. Even going as far as to pushing my wife Lady Katherine around. All to make my mother proud of me for once. She was the real monster."

You say, "Hey man. You're not alone with the whole having a shitty mom thing." He looks at you and you stand up. He stands up and faces you. You say, "That's something you and I have in common, Once-Ler. Both of us have or had straight up horrible moms, man. Mine hated me, too. That's why I never see her. For the best."

He looks at you and he says, "You and I are no different, are we?" You say, "Difference is... I see my dad. No offense. I know yours died when you were just a little kid, man." He sighs and he says, "My vague memory of him remains in my head. I was sleeping in the attic as a child. The only thing I was fond of in my room... was a picture of my father. Angus Turner was his name."

You say, "My dad was in prison for a few years, man. That's why my grandma raised me on her own for a while. But now he's out and I'm happy he's around. I have one loving parent." He says, "Why was he locked up?"

You say, "For trying to steal toys and clothes from a store for me. It was me and him after my mom left us, man. She was a whore. Luckily, my grandma was around to care for me and all, man. She taught me everything she knew. After my old man got out of prison, I went to live with him for a couple of years until I moved out and lived with Wendy."

He says, "(Y/N)." You look at him and you blink. He says, "Come here more often. Come see me any chance you get. So long as you're around, I'll be one happy monstrous being." You say, "Yeah?" He says, "Yeah." You say, "You know... I will. I'll come see you more often. Hang out with you." He smiles at you. You smile at him. He says, "I want nothing more.~" He grins.

After all of that, you walk out of the room and you look back saying, "I'll be back, Once-Ler." He says, "I'll see you then." You shut the door and you head out of the hallway. You head downstairs and you see Wendy. She says, "So, how did monster man do?" You say, "Alright. I reached out to him. Turns out we have quite a few things in common with each other. One of them is that we both had shitty moms."

She says, "Yeah? Speakin' of which, my mom's been wantin' me to visit her. She called me, yesterday while you were in your room nappin'. Told me my ass better go and visit. Besides, I think Brenda misses you." You say, "Yeah, man. Your little sis is great. I'll come." She says, "By the way, I didn't smoke all the joint. Here."

She holds it out and hands it to you. You smirk and you say, "Oh, far out. Thanks, Wendy." You take it and you take a puff. You sigh and you smile saying, "Ah, good stuff, man. Good ol' cannabis does the body good. Fuck what the cops think, man."

Wendy smirks and says, "Mhm. You said it, girl. Let's get on outta here after we finish this joint. I'm hungry as shit." You say, "Yeah. Me too. Weed only makes you hungrier sometimes." You finish the weed and you both head out of the building.

The Once-Ler looks out the window to see you and Wendy walking off. He sighs and he says, "My lust and my desire to have you with me is growing, (Y/N). I love you so goddamn much. You get me. You're unlike anyone else in this godforsaken world. I need love. I need YOU, (Y/N). To have you close. To breathe in your scent. To stroke your hair. Feel your skin... Anything to have you for myself.~"

Right outside, you say, "Wanna get some corndogs? Those sound good right now." Wendy says, "Yeah. And some soda. I'm thirsty." You say, "Yeah, okay." You and Wendy do what you do and you get your food and drinks. You continue walking around the carnival and riding a couple of rides while you're at it.

About an hour in a half later, you've left the carnival and you're driving down the road. You're both on your way to Wendy's mom's house to see her and Wendy's nine-year-old sister Brenda. Judy is her mom.

Your radio is playing We're an American Band by Grand Funk Railroad. You're singing to it a bit as you drive down the road. Wendy is smoking a joint. She smirks and sits back saying, "Yeah. Livin' life can be good sometimes, huh?" You say, "Hell yeah, man. The good side to it, that is."

She holds the joint out. You take it and you take a hit. You cough a bit and you say, "Mm, man. Stronger shit than the one we smoked a couple hours ago. Good shit." You give her the joint. She takes it and says, "Yeah. Got this off my cous, Richard. His best friend's a weed dealer." You say, "Far out." You continue your way down the road to Wendy's mom's house.
