It's the mid 1970s. You're a young woman who goes to a carnival with your best friend. Then again, you've also heard about an urban legend in the haunted attraction there at the carnival in Ann Arbor, Michigan where you live. The haunted attraction...
You make it to a house in the suburbs. It's a two-bedroom red house. You park right in the driveway and you stop the car. You and Wendy get out and you shut the doors. You say, "I wonder what your old lady's doing right now." Wendy says, "Probably cookin' or whatever. Or vacuuming." You say, "Yeah. Probably."

You get to the front door and you knock. You stand there and you both wait. The door suddenly opens and there's a middle-aged woman of heavy set, poofy black hair, a tan long sleeved shirt, brown pants, etc. That would be Judy. Wendy's mom.
She sees you guys and she smiles and says, "Girls! Ooh boy, am I glad to see you two. Get on in here. Both of you." She lets you guys in and shuts the door. Wendy says, "Hey, mama. What's up with you?" Judy hugs her close and says, "There's my baby girl. Oh, sweet child." Wendy hugs her back. Judy kisses her on the cheek.
She pulls away and she hugs you as well. You hug her back. She says, "I'm glad you came too, (Y/N) honey. Brenda sure does miss you." You say, "Hey, that's great Judy. Yeah. The kid's great, man." You pull away. Wendy says, "Where is she?" Judy says, "In the livin' room watchin' cartoons."
Right in the living room, there's a little girl in a white shirt, red overalls, white shoes, has pigtails in her curly hair, etc. That would be Brenda. She's nine years old and she's Wendy's kid sister. She's watching Hong Kong Phooey on TV and laughing at the funny parts as she sits there on the floor, drinking a bottle of Sprite.
She hears this, "Hey, sis." She looks over to see you and Wendy. She smiles and says, "Hi." You both approach her. She gets up and she runs to you guys. She hugs Wendy and she says, "Sis! I missed you. Why did you move?" Wendy says, "Little girl. I'm nineteen years old. My butt was old enough to move out. You know this." She kisses Brenda on the cheek. Brenda says, "Right. Okay."
She pulls away. She gets to you and hugs you. You hug her back and you say, "Hey, Brenda. How are you, sweetheart?" She says, "Good." You look at the TV and you say, "Are you watching that new cartoon?" She says, "Yeah. Hong Kong Phooey."
You and Wendy look at the TV. Wendy says, "Hey. That dog sounds a lot like Scatman Crothers." You say, "Hey, yeah. It really does. Pretty sure that is him." You and Wendy sit on the couch. Brenda walks over and sits between you guys. Brenda says, "I wanna go to the carnival. I heard from my friend Janet that there's a monster in the haunted house there."
Wendy says, "Well, little sis... she ain't lyin' about that." Brenda looks at her elder sister. You say, "Yeah, man. I actually talked to him." Brenda looks at you and says, "You did?" You say, "Yeah, kid. He's the Once-Ler. He's been haunting that place for a hundred years. I was raised by my gypsy grandma while my old man was doing time."
Brenda says, "What does that mean? Doing time?" Wendy says, "He was in jail for a while for stealin' stuff for (Y/N) when she was just little. Littler than you are." Brenda looks at the TV and continues watching cartoons.
Wendy gets up and says, "Hey, kid. We'll be back." She looks at you and says, "Hey, girl. Come with me real quick." You say, "Alright." You get up and you look at Brenda and you say, "We'll be back, kid." Brenda says, "Okay."
You and Wendy walk off and down the hallway. You get into a room. Her old room before she moved out. Her mom Judy turned it into a guest room. Wendy faces you. You say, "What's up?" She says, "Girl. I feel like you got a thing for monster man." You blush and you say, "Y-yeah. So what if I do?"
She smirks and says, "Figures your ass likes the guy. Girl, you're gettin' pretty damn close to him, ain't ya?" You say, "I mean, he is pretty hot for a monstrous being, man. Can you blame me?" She says, "We're goin' back there. Takin' Brenda with us. I'll wait outside the attraction with her while you go in there and confront monster man."
You say, "Okay. Let's go." You both walk out of Wendy's old room and out of the hallway. You get in the living room and you get to Brenda. You sit with her. Wendy looks towards the kitchen and yells, "Hey, mama! We're headin' out! Going to the carnival and takin' Brenda with us!"
Judy yells, "Alright, baby! And yes, do take your sister! Thanks, honey!" Brenda smiles and says, "I'm going too?" You say, "Yeah, man. I have something to do there, anyways. Your sister can get you something to eat and let you ride some rides while we're at it."
Brenda grins. She gets up and turns the TV off. She runs to you guys. You get up and you say, "Alright, guys. Let's go." You walk to the door and you look back yelling, "See you later, Judy!" She yells, "Bye, girls!" You all head out.

Moments later, you, Wendy and Brenda are at the carnival. You're standing outside the Once-Ler's mansion and you look back at Wendy and Brenda saying, "I'll be out in a little while. You guys go ahead and do whatever."
Brenda grabs her sister's hand and she says, "I wanna go on the Tilt-a-Whirl." Wendy says, "Alright. Chill, little girl. We're goin'." Brenda smiles. Wendy says, "We'll be back, girl." You say, "Alright." Wendy walks off with Brenda.
You face the attraction and you head inside. You walk around and you yell, "Once-Ler?!" You look through different rooms on the first floor and you yell, "Hey, man! Come on out!" You hear a roaring sound from upstairs. You say, "Oh. He's upstairs." You get upstairs and you yell, "What room are you in, man?!" He yells, "Mine!" You head down the hallway towards where his room is. You go in there.
There he is. Sitting on his bed. He's wearing just his white shirt and black pants. He looks over at you with those black eyes and white pupils. You approach him. He stands up and he says, "I'm glad you're here. There's something I need to get off my chest."
You say, "Tell me, man. What is it?" He looks at you and he says, "(Y/N)... I have fallen madly in love with you." You look at him and you say, "Yeah?" He says, "Yes. You're the most beautiful goddamn thing I've ever set my monstrous eyes on. Even if I did continue killing those who enter this place at night, I would never have killed YOU. Not you, my dear. I love you too fucking much to do so. I can't hold it back. I must do it. I must... Let. This. Out." You say, "Once-Ler. Just do it, man. I'm sure it's exactly how I'm seeing you, now."
He pulls you close and he leans in saying, "My (Y/N).~" He presses his lips against yours for a kiss. You close your eyes and you kiss him back. You wrap your arms around his shoulders and you tilt your head a bit to deepen the kiss. He sighs into the kiss and he's got his arms around you. You moan a little into the kiss.
You pull apart and he looks at you with half-lidded eyes. He says, "Meet me here, tonight. In this room. I want you close. To breathe you in. To feel you... To love you.~" You blush and you look at him saying, "I'll be here. I've fallen in love with you too, Once-Ler. Monster or not, you're the hottest guy I've ever seen, man.~"
He grins and says, "God, I love hearing that.~" You move away and you say, "Midnight good?" He says, "Perfect.~" You blush and you smile. You turn away and you walk out of there. Once-Ler sighs and smiles saying, "Yes. The woman all to myself. She's all mine, tonight.~"
